Chapter 67 - Chapter 67

Walking into my home I exhaled heavily as I finally was 'home' even if said home was haunted by a big titty ghost woman of a roommate. "You do realize this house is haunted right?" Kuki Shinobi spoke with a dull tone as she looked around herself.

And I nodded and said honestly. "Yup, Qiqi is currently my roommate and helps keep invaders from the house."

Then I took a breath and looked between Kuki and Ayaka, I said, leadingly. "Alright ladies, lets head into the living room. We have long needed to have this conversation."

Knowing all too well that I wanted to set our relationship straight Ayaka nodded with her following me and Keqing who took my arm and we walked into the living room, where all four of us took a seat across from one another on two sofas.

"So you already said you wanted to let this relationship to happen naturally and what happens... Well happens, but what about the public,c as my marriage with Keqing was very public."

Ayaka simply gave a small smile alongside Keqing beside me sniffing with Keqing answering bluntly. "That she is to be your second wife, it's not uncommon to have a second or even third wife and nine concubines in Liyue and Inazuma."

My beautiful purple-haired wife then poked me in the side and continued. "Now on the other hand, you relax here while I go make some tea. You need to clear out your head and decompress before you think of anything crazy."

I could only smile wryly at Keqing nailing my thought patterns right on the head. So as she strode away, I just sighed and relaxed on the couch with Ayaka humming and saying quietly.

"You two truly do love one another. It's rather surprising with how you two have only known each other for how long?"

I blinked as I counted up the days and said wistfully. "It's been... Oh a couple of months. A couple of months that I fled from Mondstadt, arrived here in Liyue and then my life completely changed with myself even being able to cultivate."

Sure I wasn't an unga bunga fucking cultivator who was slaughtering nine generations of families and hoarding resources. No, I was basically playing Satisfactory in a cultivation setting and all the scariest and most powerful cultivator's loved me because I could mass produce materials.

Unbidden I imagined what would have happened if I landed like right outside of the Cloud Refining Sect of Cloud Retainer, or the Heavenly Mountain Sect of Morax himself. Would I have become a more typical cultivator who focused on making cultivator weapons with my talents?

And probably taking unknown wives who were part of either sect to make up for my physique? Hell, what would my life be like if I instead made my way to Mondstadt instead of Liyue?

Would I be engaged in 'deep' discussions with Eula, Jean, or even Lisa if I was in Mondstadt?

I was pulled out of my thoughts as Keqing came back into the room with a tray of tea cups and a couple simple snack cakes and such.

"Hmm, so Jake as you know well this is Kuki Shinobu, and she is my maid. She has been with me since I was but a child, after she was orphaned by an abyssal attack. I hope you two can also get along." Ayaka spoke after she bowed her head to Keqing in thanks for the tea.

"That won't be a problem. So long as no one touches my blueprints, I will be happy!" I said after I munched down a nice cookie.

Then my face stilled and my eye twitched as Keqing said blandly. "Lady Ningguang told me that Lady Cloud Retainer stole all of your blueprints and personally searched your room and the house for any documents to prevent other nations and forces from doing the same."

There was a pause as all three women seemingly just watched me have a fucking aneurysm as my whole body twitched in horror as the information was proccessed as that was hours of work!

"Ugh... That damned christmas cake." I muttered into my hand before I shrugged with a sigh. "Whatever, I will worry about it later."

"Indeed, I will have Lady Ningguang request to have them back. But in the meantime, you just relax for the next few days before we got back to work." Keqing said before she gave me a knowing look.

"Besides, it would look poorly upon Ayaka if you take her on a misson instead of spending a few days with her on your honeymoon with her."

My lips twitched and I coudn't help but think as Ayaka also gave a shallow nod of agreement. 'Yeah and I literally just met her today!'

With that our conversations moved away from my workaholic nature and Keqing and I began speaking with Kuki and Ayaka to get to know them better.

"Hmm so you also practice both Cultivator and Martial Arts paths?" I asked in some surprise to Kuki who nodded a bit shyly.

"Yes, though my talent isn't exactly the greatest. So I have been stuck at the peak of the second rank of cultivation and martial arts for the last two years." Kuki admitted with a bit of shame at the end.

Keqing giggled and threw me a look before making my face heat up a bit as she said teasingly. "Hoh? How lucky for you to be the maid to the wife of a man with the Yang Returning Physique."

Kuki also blushed a bit at the very apparent insinuation in Keqing's words and Ayaka coughed before she said with amuesment. "Don't bully my maid alright. Anyway, Jake can you please show me to my room?"

I stood up in obvious agreement, though I noticed that Keqing and Kuki didn't move. Instead, just taking a drink to silently say she and Kuki was giving me a minute with Ayaka.

I left the room with Ayaka following me as I brought her upstairs and I pointed out my room along with Keqings before I pointed out the free couple of rooms that remained.

Ayaka then pushed open the door to the room and took in the somewhat plain room that just had a bed, table and wardrobe before she gave a small smile and said easily. "This will do just nicely. Hmm... Tonight Jake, could you give me some time of yours?"

She took a deep breath and then placed a hand gently on my chest and looked up into my eye's with her deep blue eye's searching mine as she said softly. "My.. Husband, I wish for you to make this marriage real in all ways."

Her hand gently squeezed my chest leaving no confusion as to what she meant. She was as bluntly as possible telling me to seal the deal. Whether it was for the food factory promised to feed her people, or her trying to tie me more physically before our emotions could grow.

Obviously, I certainly wasn't going to say no.
