In the far side of the Ninth Realm, Iris and the women whom will become Rex's Soul Mate are currently talking to the Shadow King and Lilith.
"There was a woman who honestly felt like a goddess but her power was not yet quite that high.
Through her eyes, I was able to see the other women wherever Rex currently is. They had some kind of vow giving ceremony about something called a Master of the Game Board.
What intrigued me was that her vow was not like the others. She had to be accepted by me. Inside my mansion but not in the Demon Realm here, she appeared.
However unlike what should have happened. There were other demons around. One was the Demon King of Will in disguise. The other was a supposed Demon King of her world.
The duo explained to me in my dream or vision of this that she had to be accepted or she would be cast away along with her brother who was already accepted.
Her thoughts were pure and untainted. However, one of the other women had already become pregnant with Rex's child. The problem with that was is that only his blood was used to imprint unto the egg.
I am sorry to say this but your wife was the one to beg Rex to join her in the game. It was honestly surprising to see that Rex fought tooth and nail to not hurt your relationship while also hurting your relationship." Lilith explained.
The Shadow King knew of the game. He was surprised that Rex was honestly that powerful. He could not have imagined Rex any less powerful.
"The game is called Love in a Forbidden World. It is a board game in which a couple make love in different scenarios.
I guess that was not what happened with our man, Rex right?" The Shadow King asked.
"I could not see what had happened just what was happening there because of the Demon Kings. However, I could see the heartbreaking facial expression on your wife." Lilith spoke.
"I know this is me being selfish right now. If my wife can bear him a child. Will you all allow him to?" The Shadow King asked.
Their eyes seemed to show anger but they controlled it because he was asking for his wife.
"Explain." That word alone sent shivers down everyone's spine that Iris spoke angrily.
The Shadow King coughed twice to lighten the mood. This caused the tension to slowly back down.
"Alright. For our love as the Shadow King and Queen. It is always broken. We truly love each other while we are teenagers and possibly young adults. We learn how to tolerate each other after our first child is born. For the title of King and Queen, we love until that child is born and we no longer can look each other in the eye without thinking of killing the other.
We find out as teenagers that this a curse that came from that game. It is because our ancestors broke a rule while playing the game. Since we were able to complete the endgame of it. No one knew what had happened until it was over.
Everyone King and Queen is required to play it. Since we kept the game board, the current stand-ins are not truly the King and Queen. Now that Rex has become a Master of the Game Board maybe he will change that for us." The Shadow King explained.
The women felt that either way something wrong was going to happen. She decided to try and talk to Rex.
She dug deep and found the angel whom she accepted. When Cassandra roared in pain because of the link.
Rex was already waiting to see what would happen within the ceremony. Frulen took a moment to allow Rex to see what was happening with the angel.
Curtains started to partially close. The other women stayed as Rex carried Cassandra and Frulen and Kassandros followed Rex to the edge of the auditorium.
Cassandra looked Rex in the eyes. Rex could see the reflection of Lilith within them. This was shocking to him and Lilith was pleased that this worked.
"Rex, I have a couple of things to talk about but first. We are agreeing to allow you to get the Shadow Queen pregnant because of the Shadow King asked you to do it."
Rex was stunned by what he heard from Lilith. Rex nodded like a good man.
"Next, there was a rule broken by the Shadow People in the past. See if you can fix this so that they do not have to break down their lives as the Shadow King and Shadow Queen."
Rex once again nodded but not like the first time when he was forced to.
"Finally, explain why you had to get another woman pregnant." Lilith demanded.
"That was the only way to pass through the worlds. It is terrible that I had to use my blood to do it and it was quite simple but that was the only way for me to be able to pass into the next world." Rex explained in an easy tone.
"Whatever you say for right now, I will believe you and tell that to the others. I do not have much time left on this forcing communication. Know that we have been training and you are truly loved by us. Make sure to come back alive and keep us in check." Lilith had her connection to the angel cut off due to interference from the rules.
Rex decided to ensure that the women here would one day be able to meet him in the Nine Realms but he had to finish the ceremony before any of that could happen.
