Although to the onlookers the fight looked more in favor of the Jeweled Eye Fighter. That was far from the truth.
Their stats now were almost equal. The biggest problem now was that the force behind the Jeweled Eye Fighter was much stronger than Rex's.
"Fine then, allow us to fight even with blades." The Jeweled Eye Fighter evilly spoke.
A burst of light came from the back and a golden greatsword sword came into view in his right hand.
"Allow me to introduce to you The Golden Sword Gate Erasure. When it was first found it had properties of destruction never before seen.
Even now under my control I can increase not only it's size but it's destruction capabilities. I hope your sword that you bring out matches what I have." The Jeweled Eye Fighter spoke with happily tone.
He should have spoken happily because even with all of the knowledge he had and somewhat of now. There should not be a sword that can match his.
"A sword that matches destruction? I hope you are ready to lose because I have a sword that will but it will take just a little longer to come forth." Rex spoke.
The crowd began to go backwards because no one wanted to be close to this fight. Even the Jeweled Eye Fighter was a little curious about this sword.
Rex transformed into his Demon King of Annihilation form. The Jeweled Eye Fighter instantly regretted giving Rex any time to get his sword.
That was not was giving him goosebumps currently and everyone in the Heavenly Realms for that matter. Right now, behind Rex's back and in front of the crowd a darkness appeared.
The Demon God sensing that darkness immediately frowned at sight. He went to help people get away from this fight.
The Stairway Conscious seemed upset at this revelation of the darkness as well but there was nothing currently the duo could do about it.
This time a longsword appeared beside Rex. The people watching looked at this as if a Hero and a Demon King were about to fight off.
The first clash of swords did nothing to the ground but the second seemed to split the entire area where their aura was.
Neither one could afford to lose but yet neither one truly wanted a quick win. Right now, the crowd was about to see something truly marvelous.
"Four Stone Sword of Destruction: Golden Wave" the golden sword was swung diagonally.
"Destruction of Destruction Sword: Blitz Wave" the darkness sword was swung horizontally.
The impact of both swords caused both fighters to be sent backwards and hit the ground hard.
The Jeweled Eye Fighter was the first to cough up blood. Since was quickly followed by Rex who tried to hold it in for longer.
The crowd was amazed by this. This was no longer a fight to win but a fight to remember. Even the Demon God was amazed that neither sword would easily give up either.
"The swords match the energy of the user." The Stairway Conscious whispered to the Demon God.
He frowned at this but paid closer attention to the fight between the swords and not the users.
The next swing and the clash was fully caught by the Demon God. The energy between both of the swords was indeed equal but far weaker than the aura coming from the user's.
The next thing he noticed was that the fight was not about winning or losing. It was about the long game and who would honestly go down first.
The smile the Demon God had showed why he was the Demon God. It not only looked evil but was also sinister in feeling.
The crowd did not pay any attention to the Demon God currently. Everyone had their entire focus on the fight itself and how two people could be this strong.
"People who enter the Godly Realm are not ordinary people. Only those who can truly fight at the pinnacle and have the people awed are worthy of becoming Godly Realm Cultivators. That is why it is so hard for people to advance nowadays." The words spoken to the Demon God as he heard them from Mira a long time ago.
"Rex, you are worthy enough to enter into the highest of Realms. Just ensure that you do not get injured like me." The Demon God spoke.
The people could not hear what he said because he had used Godly Qi to speak in. Those words were caught by the Demon King of Annihilation and he smiled. There was no way he wanted to even get hurt.
The crowd got more amazed as the fight began to drag closer to noon. Both men not wanting to lose but neither one wanted to show weakness at this point.
Finally once the sun reached it's highest point, Rex just simply caught the golden blade with his index finger and thumb.
"We will both rest for an hour. Ensure that you are ready to fight after that." Rex spoke.
The duo went to the side. The crowd brought both them something to eat and drink.
The Jeweled Eye Fighter was shocked that the people were willing to give him food and drink. He wished that he had born now and was in Rex's position instead of the position he is now.
