[Chapter Size: 2200 Words.]
Third Person POV
Konoha, 43.
...
...
Minato woke up with only one person sharing the bed with him, while Hanabi was clinging to his back, her naked body pressed against his.
All the girls had left the bed to prepare the first meal of the day and take care of the children, while he still remained there, unwilling to get up.
Minato freed himself from Hanabi, got out of bed, and put on a robe before going down to the ground floor of his castle, as he liked to call his home.
He entered the kitchen and found Mikoto breastfeeding little Itachi in her arms. Tsuna was preparing eggs while keeping their daughter's stroller nearby, and Kushina was helping by boiling water, preparing something for them to drink.
He approached and saw a few scrolls on top of the table in front of his chair at the head of the table.
"The Anbu left this at our gate early this morning," Mikoto commented while continuing to nurse Itachi, gently rocking him.
"I see," Minato murmured.
The Anbu always left scrolls when they noticed some movement in the house, so that other people wouldn't get information meant directly for Minato. And they couldn't simply enter through the gate.
"Stay with Hikari for a bit, Minato. Let me finish the eggs here," Tsuna approached, placing Hikari's stroller beside him, while Minato nodded, moving closer to the scrolls and unrolling them.
He looked at the girl playing with a pacifier inside the stroller, picked her up, and placed her on his lap while finally opening the first scrolls. As one of the council seats, there was all kinds of information there, from changes in the village's defense to taxes and rumors coming from within Konoha.
They had caught some merchant spies after Minato identified them around the village, detecting certain suspicious feelings in them before informing the Anbu.
He opened another scroll and saw some notes about the Uzumaki. Certainly, many still looked at the village with suspicion and made comments here and there, something Minato understood as normal. There wasn't much to be done about it except wait for them to set aside their resentment. He wasn't a lunatic like Danzou who would kidnap anyone over every strange comment within the village, to the point of classifying everyone as sworn enemies of Konoha.
Leaving that aside, there were also Anbu reports about suspicious activities and even changes in the hospital staff. Sakumo always tried to keep him informed about everything happening in the village, even asking for his opinion and inviting him to the office to discuss the possibility of increasing the number of hospital members now that the Uzumaki were in the village and were a powerful clan in medical ninjutsu.
Several weeks had already passed, and Minato wondered what the great villages were discussing about Konoha at that moment. They would clearly be bothered and would try to find some way to counter them, even though they were facing a much greater challenge now that Uzushiogakure stood alongside Konoha.
Even so, Minato remained calm about it. Just waiting to see what would happen in the end.
In any case, Minato finished reading the rest of the reports while Hikari made a few sounds, trying to reach him with her hand, her father's face. He continued paying attention to the scrolls, as if he were just a family man reading his newspaper early in the morning. He could easily categorize his situation that way if he were in the modern world.
When he finished reading, he turned his attention to his daughter, who hadn't stopped playing. He made a few small sparks of light with his finger, like tiny dancing stars, while the girl watched with the pure enchantment only a child has when seeing something magical.
Soon the hot meal was placed on the table, and Hanabi also approached, joining them, still a little sleepy. She sat in one of the chairs beside Minato and didn't stop touching the blonde head resting on Minato's lap.
"I imagine you still haven't found a team," Minato asked the wife he had found in bed when he woke up; she had gone to sleep after everyone else.
She nodded. "I'm looking among the genin who still don't have a team and even among those who are about to graduate from the academy..." She wanted to form her own team.
Minato sighed lightly. "And the clan?"
"The Hyūga clan wants me to teach new youngsters from the main family. They heard that I'm looking for a team to lead, and now they're insisting on it," Hanabi added, with a slight annoyance in her voice.
That clan didn't seem to give up. They had already been bothering him and the whole family for some time, ever since they returned, wanting to know exactly what Hanabi's eye abilities were. Obviously, Minato didn't grant anything, nor did he even think it was useful. The last member of the Ōtsutsuki clan had been killed and consumed by Hanabi.
Not to mention the absurd talks about possible marriages for a child who hadn't even been born yet. Hiashi, as the future leader of the clan and having just married, and the clan expected him to strengthen the main lineage even further, wishing for an heir with Hanabi's lineage because of her special eyes, even though she was from the branch house.
Minato immediately refused when they offered that and tried to tie down a child that he and Hanabi hadn't even had yet.
When some dared to say that it would be a privilege to have someone from the branch family in the main lineage like Hanabi, the conversation didn't end very well. The Hyūga ended up in the hospital after offending his wife.
No one from the clan dared to make a formal complaint, claiming only that they had "fallen" during the disagreement. It could have been worse; Minato could have even officially accused them of offending a member of the village council.
Even so, the Uchiha police took advantage of the situation and put them behind bars for about a week after they were discharged from the hospital, under charges of disturbing the peace and contempt, even without anything official.
"Well, Hyūga or not, you choose whoever you want," Minato said calmly to his wife.
Hanabi nodded, and they waited for breakfast while Minato played with Hikari a little longer.
"Let's start eating," Kushina approached with the tea and even coffee beans to accompany the first meal. While Tsunade finished placing the plates on the table, Mikoto put little Itachi in his high chair after feeding him and joined them at the table.
Minato ate patiently with his family while placing his daughter back in her high chair once again.
"So I heard you're not coming straight home today?" Tsuna murmured to Minato.
She had arrived a little later the previous night, having stayed at her mother's house in the Senju clan, and Mikoto had informed him that morning, reminding him of what they had talked about earlier, as he nodded.
"Yes. My former team wants to set something up. I invited Mikoto and Hanabi, since they were part of the team, but Hanabi will be studying candidates for her team, and Mikoto needs to take care of Itachi. He's had a fever these past few days," Minato explained.
"Yes, she told me. I was planning to make some medicines for him today, actually. There are some plants I can cultivate that are quite useful in these cases," Tsunade said.
Kushina would go to the Village Defense Squad, while Minato would head to the Academy to teach. Hanabi would stay looking through the village records, determined to find a team she could lead as a teacher, and Mikoto would go to the Uchiha clan to speak with her father. Tsuna would take Hikari out for a walk, staying at the Senju clan with her mother.
Minato talked with them a little longer, then went upstairs to his room and put on his Leaf Village jōnin uniform, without any hurry, since he could teleport.
He said goodbye to each of his wives and the babies, wishing them a good day, before disappearing and reappearing in front of the Ninja Academy.
The parents of the children were taking their kids to class at that moment, and some of them started pointing when they recognized him. Minato moved by leaping up toward one of the windows, since entering through the front wasn't a good idea. Whenever he did, the parents would start small talk, and some even asked for autographs, as happened all the time. The worst were those who begged for Minato to be their children's sensei.
Minato thought that no academy teacher should be too famous. It ended up interfering quite a bit with the children's performance, as they were more concerned with talking about his achievements than listening to the actual lesson, asking for war stories or what kind of training they should do to become as powerful as him — or even whether they had the potential to reach that level of strength.
Minato headed to the teachers' room, where everyone was gathered before classes began.
"Namikaze-sama, punctual as always," one of the teachers commented cheerfully upon seeing him.
Minato opened a smile. "Hello. How are you today?" he asked the group of chūnin who were preparing for their classes. He was the only jōnin among them.
"You know we ended up talking about the Second War yesterday? Now the students want you to talk about it, could you give a lecture to my class? They're demanding that I ask you to give a speech about what it was like to fight in the Second War and become a hero..." one of them said, laughing awkwardly.
"It's not the first time something like this has happened," another commented. "Not to mention the other classes, who think it's unfair that you're teaching only Class A." The other teacher laughed.
Minato shrugged.
They talked for a while, and even the teachers couldn't stop themselves from asking questions about the war to tell their students, just as enthusiastic as the students themselves would be.
Minato laughed at that, but he ended up talking a bit. There was nothing wrong with sharing a few experiences, and it was also good to get to know the chūnin better. While they talked, he asked about their own lives, sought their opinions, and they responded excitedly, speaking about their families, where they lived in the village. Minato liked that feeling of belonging even among the lower ranks of the village.
"Well, anyway, it's time to head to class," Minato said simply. In the next moment, he disappeared before all the chūnin, who couldn't help but comment on how envious they were that he had mastered a space-time ninjutsu. Being able to teleport wherever he wanted truly seemed convenient.
When Minato entered the classroom, the children were already causing a bit of a commotion. Some were standing, others sitting in their seats, talking to their classmates. They alternated between gossip, hushed conversations about secrets and rumors, and the shouts of possible fights.
Obito was standing on top of his chair, arguing with someone, saying things like he would be the next Hokage. Rin was talking with her friends, while Guy was doing push-ups in the middle of the room, shouting the count out loud.
Minato couldn't help but sigh. He had quite a peculiar class. It would be one of the few that would stand out in Konoha's history, gathering so many eccentric ninja in a single generation.
Some students immediately noticed Minato standing there. They already knew he could appear without warning in the middle of the room. They ran to their seats and pulled their friends to stop talking, warning them that the teacher had arrived.
Soon, the class began to calm down. Half of the students were already seated, and the rest gradually realized it as well.
When Minato noticed that almost everyone was seated, waiting for the lesson to begin, only two still remained out of their places, causing some kind of commotion.
"Hey, don't ignore me! You think you'll defeat me next time? Listen to what I'm saying! I am the pride of the Uchiha clan and the greatest ninja who will ever rise in the village! Not even the teacher will stand a chance against me!" Obito started shouting at his classmate, adjusting his characteristic goggles.
Suddenly, the student Obito had been arguing with was silent, staring ahead, trying to behave in front of Minato.
"Obito, what are you doing? Sit down already!" Rin whispered loudly beside him.
"What? I'm just talking about my greatness," he replied.
She discreetly pointed toward the front of the room.
When Obito finally saw the teacher standing there, he blushed instantly, realizing that Minato had probably heard his declaration that he would surpass him.
"You seem excited today, Obito..." Minato said with a smile, already used to the boy's antics.
The class burst into laughter, while Obito sank into his seat, completely embarrassed.
Only one person was still training like crazy, and that person was none other than Might Guy.
Someone tapped him on the shoulder and murmured that the teacher had already arrived. He finally stopped doing push-ups and stood up.
But instead of blushing like Obito, Guy broke into an enthusiastic smile.
"Professor! You've finally arrived! Shall we begin a training session that will surpass all our limits!?" he asked excitedly.
"Maybe, Guy. Now sit down," Minato replied.
The boy nodded quickly and ran to his seat, hoping that at some point Minato would truly propose some intense training for them.
When the classroom finally settled down, that was Minato's cue to begin the lesson.
"Well, let's begin. I hope everyone has trained over the past few days the D-rank elemental jutsu I assigned to each of you. Let's see your performance at the academy's training field," Minato said.
The room filled with excitement.
Everyone, except Guy, had received an element. To make up for it, Minato had given him one of the Six Marine Styles techniques, which was worth far more than any D-rank elemental jutsu, making the boy's eyes shine when Minato revealed it.
In any case, they began the lesson. Minato had been working in a role he never imagined taking on, as a teacher, but after speaking with Sakumo, he himself had requested it while this class's usual teacher was ill.
He also wanted the opportunity to see how the children were doing, especially that class, because he intended to change the future of some of them.

A bit of Minato's daily life
Iruka looks like he's in the teachers' photo, and Minato looks a bit strange. I couldn't improve the details enough to make him look more like himself.
