Chapter 389 - Chapter 389 - I am Willing to Help you Destroy Konoha.

[Chapter Size: 2200 Words.]

Third Person POV

Lands of Iron, 43.

...

...

"Well, I will leave the children's safety to you." Minato said to Jiraiya-Sensei beside Hanabi in the middle of the open area of that inn.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of them!" Jiraiya stated, while Minato and Hanabi nodded, moving a little away from the group.

"Well, let's follow the plan through the sky," Minato said to his wife, as he began to shine in yellow, in a form similar to Kurama's of Kushina and Naruto, but it wasn't a yellow chakra glow — it was simply him transforming his own body into particles of light, illuminating, as he became light, losing all his weight.

At the same time, Hanabi also immediately enveloped herself in green chakra, activating her tenseigan, which covered her entire body with a powerful aura.

Green chakra and the yellow particles shone in front of the children, before both looked at each other, with a nod, and both simply shot into the sky like two rising stars.

"Incredible..." all the children murmured as they saw the two advancing at high speed, like shooting stars, heading directly north as soon as they reached a certain height.

They traveled through the sky quickly. They were so high that anyone could really think they were shooting stars from the ground.

Minato watched Hanabi, who was trying to surpass him in speed. Obviously, she would be incapable of such a thing, because light is much faster, and Minato wasn't even trying to actually reach his maximum speed.

It didn't take long for the castle to be reached, and quickly they reduced the distance between each other, until both the yellow and green glow disappeared, they had to stop drawing attention.

Minato held Hanabi in his arms in the air and moved through the sky, now flying without using all of his speed. He was already above the castle and they couldn't simply keep flying in the sky with their flashy glows. Minato would use his ability to float while holding Hanabi by the waist, keeping her close to him.

"Well, I doubt Black Zetsu or the Zetsus will detect us here..." Minato said calmly.

Hanabi activated her eyes. She could see not just dozens or hundreds — there were thousands of White Zetsus beneath the ground, around the castle.

"They've reinforced the place quite a lot... are you sure they won't miss that Zetsu you killed further south?"

"Maybe, but the protections will detect them if they approach our students. They will be automatically teleported, as I activated using that kind of trap-barrier," Minato said.

He had created a fuinjutsu barrier that could detect even Zetsu himself, despite being immune to sensors. Minato, Kushina and Tsunade had already studied a way to detect him with barriers, since they could find him even when he merged with nature. He could still be detected thanks to Tsunade's chakra perception, which allowed her to sense plant life.

Minato could sense presence/the spirit/the will with his haki, Kushina could sense emotions.

Adding everything together, presence/the spirit/the will, chakra, and emotions, these were the key to creating a new barrier. Combined with that, there was an automatic teleport that would transfer Jiraiya and the six children away from there if any of the Zetsus entered the barrier placed in the area.

But he doubted they would actually go looking for them in that isolated town. In any case, Hanabi's eyes scanned the thousands of points around the castle, all underground, ready to act. Minato also observed with his Haki, reaching over 5 km, or 15,000 feet, being at that height and analyzing the entire area.

Zetsu, just like members of the Stone, the Mist, and Kumo who had just arrived, also sensed weakened presences — in fact, bodies left behind. This was nothing new, knowing that this meeting would not remain hidden forever and that many assassination contracts would be released.

There were many people with grudges against the five great nations, so there were both those who tried to spy on them and those who tried to assassinate them.

Down below, several samurai wearing armor and carrying two katanas, waiting for any invader, looked out from the towers. "Did you see those two shooting stars?"

"Yes, did you make a wish?"

"Are you kidding, do I look 10 years old to you?"

The samurai grumbled there about the light in the sky that had disappeared a moment before, and no one found anything abnormal.

Minato stopped paying attention to the surroundings and turned his focus to the center of the place, he heard the earlier conversation and there, he could sense powerful chakras and intense presences.

"They are trying to find anything all the time," Minato said.

He could sense, besides the samurai, several sensors, even standing on top of the castle roofs, searching for any trace of an enemy — but they found nothing. They were perfectly at an advantage there.

That was why there was no one in the ninja world capable of spying on that meeting better than those two. Both were the ninjas with the best espionage abilities. Hanabi could even surpass Minato, since she could see anything even from another country.

Fortunately, no one had any idea of what she could do — not even the Hyūga clan had full knowledge of it. After all, they had never fully reported the abilities of the tenseigan, they wouldn't be that foolish, even with the pressure from the clan trying to get closer to them to learn more about Hanabi's eyes.

They even tried the same with the Uchiha clan, seeking marriage contracts with babies who hadn't even been born yet, the future children of Hanabi.

'Babies...' Minato couldn't help but think about it and smell her perfume, and feel that even if it wasn't something so serious, them floating in the sky could even be romantic. He lightly pressed his wife closer against him, feeling her curves against him, before placing a kiss on her neck, making Hanabi shiver.

"What is this...?" she murmured, looking at him with a slight blush, feeling her body pressed against his and feeling 'something' touching her backside. "Is this the time for that?"

Minato just laughed. "I'm just joking... but when we get back, let's go somewhere before meeting the others," he whispered in her ear.

She didn't respond, just kept her gaze fixed on the castle below. There was no need to say anything.

They stayed there for hours, while the meeting had not yet begun. The group from Kumo, with the Third Raikage, Killer B and other powerful members of that generation, served as guards while they settled in.

Minato and Hanabi remained in the sky for the next few hours, until the sun began to rise on the eastern horizon. Finally, the group from Kiri began to arrive.

Immediately, they paid close attention to them.

Hanabi continued observing the avatar with her crimson eyes, while Minato recognized that presence very well with his Haki.

His former classmate and someone he had already faced personally... He couldn't help but mock internally.

There was also the matter that the jinchūriki of the Three-Tails and the Six-Tails were not exactly as he imagined. After all, he still believed that the jinchūriki of the Three-Tails was Yagura Karatachi, the Fourth Mizukage, but now it was someone else. Since in the original timeline, he only received the Three-Tails after Rin had the bijuu sealed inside her.

In any case, it would be quite interesting. Iwa brought its two jinchūrikis to the meeting, while Kumo brought only the Eight-Tails — none other than Killer B, someone who should already have complete control over his bijū. Kiri also brought two.

As for Suna, it brought none. It was certainly in a bad situation in that meeting, being by far the weakest group.

Minato couldn't help but show a slight smile. The Kazekage deserved all of that. They still hadn't found Shukaku, which Minato had sent somewhere on the other continent at the end of the Uzushiogakure battle — at least, that was how it seemed. Since Suna could very well have found Shukaku and kept it in the village, after all, they always kept their jinchūrikis under surveillance.

"Are you seeing him?" Hanabi asked Minato, while continuing to observe.

"Of course. I know him very well... this is our former classmate. That Uchiha who used to keep fighting with me in the first year of the academy," Minato replied.

He used to be the favorite in the first year of the elite class, but Minato managed to surpass everyone, and after Mikoto awakened the Sharingan the following year, she also stood out as the best Uchiha in the second year. After that, that Uchiha was never able to catch up to Minato and the girls, who had stood out much more than the others — even Hanabi, who entered an elite class years later.

"Is he working with Madara?" Hanabi asked carefully.

Minato nodded for a moment before responding. "Yes, I said I fought two Uchihas on the northern border and the village thought the clan was attempting a coup... It was them."

Meanwhile, elsewhere, a few kilometers from there, Orochimaru also seemed fascinated by the Kages' meeting. He was already aware of it and didn't fail to wait for his spies to bring him information.

He learned that the Raikage had already entered the Land of Sound, and that recently the Mizukage had done the same.

Orochimaru was in the shadows, waiting to see what would happen to Konoha, since that meeting was precisely to deal with this threat. Orochimaru could benefit from this, especially being hunted by his former village.

But he had no idea that some people from that meeting were already keeping an eye on him.

This became evident when, suddenly, White Zetsus began to emerge from the laboratory where Orochimaru was working.

Cold and silent, they rose from the ground, while Orochimaru stepped slightly away from his research on immortality.

He was still trying to explore special bodies, insisting on finding the secrets for his dreams.

Several white heads began to emerge from the ground, in humanoid form, White Zetsus began to appear around the room, dozens of them filled the room as if preventing Orochimaru from leaving.

Orochimaru looked with caution and curiosity, after all his eyes studied that.

"What is this...? I couldn't even sense them..." he looked wide-eyed, staring at the crowd of strange beings standing there.

"You are Orochimaru of Konoha, right?" An old and hoarse voice came from behind the creatures. The Zetsus began to make way, allowing the approach of an elderly man, leaning on a cane and with his eyes closed.

"Who are you? How did you find me?" Orochimaru asked cautiously.

"How I found you was easy. Now, as for who I am... well, you can say that I am someone with the same goals as you," the old man replied.

"And what goals would those be?" Orochimaru gave a malicious and nervous smile.

The man kept his eyes closed for a moment, until he finally opened them, revealing irises as red as blood.

"Sharingan?!" Orochimaru's eyes widened upon seeing the Sharingan glowing with an intensity he had never seen — neither inside nor outside Konoha.

He could feel the power coming from those eyes. More than any other Sharingan.

'Who is this man...?'

He wasn't just stronger — that old man was more powerful than him. His instincts screamed not to face him.

Orochimaru was not immortal at that moment. He would not be foolish. He was still just someone pursuing his ambitions — and he couldn't help but feel a slight tremor.

"My goal... is to destroy Konoha," the old man said slowly. "You are certainly waiting for the outcome of the Kages' meeting until the end of this day. But instead of waiting for a response to act in the shadows of this possible war, I want you to act together with it," he paused, and continued.

"I want you to help us weaken and destroy Konoha."

"Are you aware of the power Konoha possesses now, right? All that information in the bingo book makes it clear that not even the four great nations can face them." Orochimaru did not take his eyes off the old man and the white creatures, analyzing them carefully. He looked at them with fascination.

Now, he remembered that Minato had captured those white creatures, some of them appeared in his daughter's village, on the day they faced Hiruzen and Danzō.

The creatures that were inside the village... Orochimaru wanted to study them, but he was prevented at that time.

"Well, you are right... but there is a factor that no village possesses," the old man continued slowly.

His eyes seemed to shine even more. "After all... I am Madara Uchiha. And I am willing to help you destroy Konoha."

Orochimaru slowly widened his eyes, completely shocked.
