Anna and the others stared in shock at the triangular portal on the wall, which was no longer triangular. Its edges began to twist and spread outward, as if it had become a wellspring from Hell, violently spewing out waves of corpses in ghastly states of death.
As the pile of corpses in the room grew higher, Anna quickly retreated. Everyone present, abandoning their previous conflict, frantically fled the cave.
As they evacuated, the Mobile Task Force from the city battle arrived with the monster-bodied Anna, only to be astonished by the scene. The two groups, who had just been locked in a life-or-death struggle, now stood together peacefully. The sight was so bizarre that each side suspected their own people had been mind-controlled by the other.
"Was this all your doing? Who are all those dead people?" The remaining IMF leader stared grimly at Anna, utterly ignorant of the Foundation's affairs.
