Just as the people behind them were about to catch up, a black-robed Arhat wielding a Demon-Subduing Circle suddenly burst out from a nearby tree trunk. The circle, engraved all over with Buddhist scriptures, was viciously hurled at Li Huowang and his companion.
With a flash of dark light, the Demon-Subduing Circle slammed onto them, and in an instant, their bodies shattered inch by inch like rotten wood.
Soon, a crowd gathered, staring at the Arhat holding Li Huowang's head.
"Something's wrong!" A man dressed as a Taoist flipped his hands and wiped his eyes with two leaves.
