Ji Zai was the name Zhuge Yuan had deliberately given him to conceal Li Huowang's identity.
Now, that name belonged to the Fate Commander who governed the bewildering Heavenly Dao—in other words, the Li Huowang of the future.
Li Huowang didn't know his future self was called this. Yet, when he recalled the name, he instinctively felt it belonged to him.
The figure who had just dissipated like yellow sand was probably Ji Zai, or at least a part of him. Li Huowang wasn't entirely sure. Facing the future version of himself who would become a Fate Commander, he could only guess.
More confusing than his own identity was the meaning of the man's parting words.
"He should be called Ji Zai," Li Huowang's words left the Astrological Bureau official feeling bewildered.
If he remembered correctly, wasn't Ji Zai supposed to be Li Huowang's false name? Was he just talking to himself?
