Gojo had one mission, and it was to save his brother's life and existence. Ever since he realized the reality of his own existence, the universe had turned bleak and dark, turning into nothing more than a titanic machine that he needed to understand and tear apart.
"That day... when Yog tried to kill me, so you'd be born." Gojo looked at the empty room from behind his desk. "If... I had died then. Would this fate be different? Would you be the one looking for me? Or would everything fall back into place?"
Lilia appeared out of nowhere on his desk and looked at his face with a smile. "Yog wanted you dead, and I wanted you alive. The fate we're in is the compromise we both agreed upon."
He looked at her with glowing blue eyes. "Yog doesn't compromise."
He was right, and Lilia couldn't agree more as she sat down. "She might perfectly mimic emotions, personality, and even show compassion, love, and hatred... but that's all just an act."
