After finally falling asleep in his cocoon grey woke up in his lucid lab only to find a dark figures raspy screams "YOU FIENDS CANT HOLD ME. LET ME OOOUT!!!"
Grey quickly followed the angry voice only to find a familiar form. A Figure covered in liquid darkness sending out pulses of dark aura that seemed to destroy everything it touched.
"Whoa whoa whoa… let's calm down and talk this out adam."
Adam looked in greys direction with eyes made of shadowy smoke wings fluttering and a mouth made of razor sharp darkness for fangs.
Adam's breathing slowly calmed a bit before he spoke "where the hell have I been taken I was guarding the land of the dead when suddenly… poof I'm here?"
Grey was kinda worried because Adam's darkness wasn't disappearing.
"Listen carefully and don't attack me. This is my lucid lab or my personal domain in MY dreams that I enter when I fall asleep that only a few can enter uninvited. I'm guessing since we are both connected through lilys summoning magic you entered here in your sleep."
Adam just stared down grey for a few seconds thinking. "We undead don't sleep I was simply meditating while waiting in the grave yard."
"Oh" was all grey could muster after hearing that.
"So what do you do here… in your dreams?" Adam asked as he finally retracted his darkness from all around him.
Grey just released a sigh of relief after the tension finally disappeared. "Well usually Ted trains me and Lily while Jade just watches us. But their is a few area where you can study your past memories or use illusions to mess around. There even a food hall that Jade loves because it allows you to fell the flavors of past meals you ate."
Adam just nodded before looking around.
Grey stared at him awkwardly not knowing how to interact with this human outside of fighting before an idea popped in his head.
"Oh yeah now that I've thought about your the fist human I've ever met why is that." He questioned.
Adam stopped moving for a second before he continued exploring "that's because we humans are like wolves with a elven body but we are less blessed than elves and dwarfs in magic and lifespan. And While elves and dwarfs are united we are divided into three tribes."
Grey followed Adam closely from behind whilst listening. "That kinda sounds like my home we beast mostly look out for our own kind while a few places are open to every beast. Can you tell me about your tribes I wanna know more about other species.
Adam stared into grey curious eyes before almost immediately giving in. "~Sure~ my tribe the graves protect the dead and fallen of them others making us skinny and grey but in exchange a few of us are gifted powers from the deceased. I gained a undead body that can fight without rest from a powerful hunter."
Adam glanced back at grey had his full focus on listening which made Adam smile.
"Then there's the Stone tribe they are the hunters they are bigger and hairier while having massive noses all so they can track and hunt better as none of them have runes but a few have Aura to strengthen themselves."
"Is aura that weird pluse of energy that came from you when you were angry earlier?" Grey asked.
"Yes! Now pay attention you asked for it, the final tribe is the cloud a group of shamans that use others magic to see the future control corpses or even cast non magic spells stuff I don't understand basically.
Grey thought for a moment before asking with a face of childish joy "if your willing to teach me about this aura power you have I'll teach you the origin flow technique that the old man showed me."
Adam just let out a heavy sigh "Why not. It's not like I got anything else going on at the moment but you need to help me find a immediate exit… and directions I get lost easily." They walk off towards the training hall while talking.
With grey asking questions like why are humans faces more caves in than elves?
After a while Adam woke up leaving grey all on his own. Grey looked around his lab with the dirty white stone walls. "Since I awakened unless I used my powers I've never been in silence… I hate this loud quiet feeling I need to do something fun so why not redecorate. Jade and Lily don't like how unorganized the labs set up is so let's make it more chaotic!"
He said with a wicked grin.
A few hours later the entire lab has been reset and rebuilt now looking like a giant flat platform divided in half.
On the left side was a small mountain surrounded by dirty white stone buildings arranged in a maze like manner with a few labels and maps hidden away to piss everyone off.
In the middle was two doors labeled Exit and library.
On the right side of the platform was just a flat grassy plan with a constant blowing breeze drifting by and a big tree near a small hill while a massive hole was nearby shaped in a arena theme led manner.
And all around were blue crickets looking creatures that kept making a constant clicking noise pretty loudly.
"Now this is a home." Grey said satisfied.
"Now that aura thing again I remember Adam telling it's a mainly human trait as not uses up their life force but a few can use it when close to death… hmm?"
A thought appeared in greys head that giant bird that attacked him with a swarm of minions. He released a weird energy similar to what Adam did.
Back at the eleventh burrow karma just finished training and went off on a walk to relax a bit when a golden string of energy appeared in his vision.
"What's this? A new luck ability???"
Karma cautiously followed it into the woods before speeding up as it started fading faintly.
After following it for a bit he found it ended at a big he slowly crept around the tree only to see a red fox laying there elegantly.
"Why hello there… your not grey your that… umm who are again?" Scarlet asked Genuinely confused.
