A few minutes earlier Rex and Maria followed everyone out after grey rushed out and golo made a horrible joke. The shrunken cocoa was on Rex's back looking like she was having a good time.
All three girls separated from the group and headed towards the main battle.
"Bok, cocoa that frozen wall over there is probably where the leader is I'll throw you over and just just gotta have fun." Rex said to cocoa who was smiling wickedly with her black mist like fur.
Rex quickly did a backflip launching the bear straight up. "Brace yourself for impact!"
Rex shouted as she quickly grew to the size of an horse before kicking the tiny bear over the wall like a ball.
A few stopped fighting hearing a ghastly scream come from a weird trail of black mist above them.
As Cocoa flew across the wall she saw a rabbit with an injured foot about to be pierced by a few ice spike obviously made by the calm white fox in front of her.
Seeing this cocoa had flashbacks for a second of a group of bears being attacked by groups of golden snakes. she let out a mighty roar as she fell towards the fox due to her growing size. "INCOMING BEAR BALL!"
The white fox immediately looked up only to see a huge black bear fall out the sky. He quickly created a ice dome to protect himself.
Cocoa crashed into the ice dome sending it flying into the woods.
After crashing cocoa stood tall letting out a primal ~ROAR~.
Violet was an injured mess but she refused to back down.
She stared deep into the undead bears eyes "you want a piece of us too… well come at us!"
Cocoa looked at the injured rabbit curiously before something clicked. "No ma'am, I'm a here with my friend golo helping his friend… umm what was his name? He's a really fast grey rabbit… oh that's right his name is grey! Anyway where here to help I'll deal with fax but I don't think I can beat him."
Violet was surprised this huge scary bear knew her son although vaguely and she was very polite. "Be careful my water rune only seemed to make his ice more stronger." She said as she looked around to the area full of snow, ice and water puddles.
"It's fine ma'am as an undead the cold doesn't affect us much. But with all this death and chaos here I'm also stronger." Cocoa smiled in a crazed manner as took a deep breath she started sucking in all the death energy in the air from the battle.
The black mist surrounding her body seemed to solidify into a black liquid.
"You dare to ambush me the great hunter, your not even a rabbit?"
Cocoa stared at him for a few before looking down at violet "what language is that?"
Violet and the fox just looked at the bear dumbfounded. "I'm it the foxes native language, most beast that stick together don't speak harmony, but he basically said how dare you hit him."
"Oh, well how dare he assume I know fox crap, you all look and sound the same and you'll die just the same the only difference is how much you resist now come at me!"
Hunter the white fox stared at her seemingly random noises but he understood her paw movements signaling for him to come at her.
The air around him grew colder as slowly walked up to the bear.
Violet looked at the to powerful creatures infront of her when she felt a presence behind her.
She looked back seeing a pair red eyes behind her. "Don't look back or I'll attack you."
Violet could sense the anger behind her. "You'll kill me anyway so why should I listen to you?"
The voice behind went silent for a moment before speaking "because the only one I want to kill is that white fox there, I could care less who else lives or dies otherwise I would have killed you already."
Violet just agreed but didn't let her guard down just in case. "You might want to hide your anger or he'll sense it."
"TCH, I know that much!" Scarlet said but she did mask her anger soon after.
They watched as the bear just charged in with no self preservation and the fox was left on the defensive dodging whilst creating ice tool and obstacles.
Meanwhile Maria and Rex joined in the battle by attacking a fox that was paying attention to the flying bear ball.
Rex hardened her wings as she slashed at one's neck and Maria created sharp vines that pierced the belly of one seemingly effortlessly.
Unfortunately for Maria the one she attacked disappeared as if only a illusion.
"TCH, Damm I hate illusionists so hard to find the true body."
Karma hopped near them "not that I'm complaining about the extra help… but like why and how many more are coming?"
Rex was to busy slashing around killing some but mostly hitting illusions which pissed her off more sending her into a frenzy. "Fight properly you cowards, I've seen chickens with more guts than you lot. FIGHT BACK! Dammit!"
Maria looked mentally exhausted just watching Rex fight as she landed on karmas head to rest on. "listen here you… very soft furred seat, I'll give you the honor of my support since seem to be able to track the true bodies mostly, and all you need to know is we came with grey and only the two of us are helping here."
"Good enough for me!" Karma shouted ready to join in.
They were about jump into the battle but Rex flew past them as a massive fox slowly walked towards them.
"TCH, that must be the tier three illusion fox grey mentioned, Be careful everyone this one is a powerful illusionist!"
A bunch of tulips grew around Maria and karma releasing a yellow mist like ball towards exhausted or injured rabbits.
"You four back to back cover each others blind spots, you over there are you a idiot just because you can heal like a worm doesn't mean you should fight alone help the others stay alive, and you two old looking guys you might be out of energy but not options if you can't fight support the others until your energy recovers! AND YOU take over healing the injured and defeated!"
" Maria shouted at all nearby rabbits getting them in a odd formation of sorts.
Blitz joined up with the four rabbits back to back covering for them when they got tired giving everyone some breathing space.
Elder oaks and elder willow work together with some spear to defend daisy as she gathered the wonded beyond help while making plants that eased their pain.
"Wow your like a queen of mass combat! Incredible!" Karma exclaimed.
"I know, now we will focus on the boss of these tricksters. You find them and I'll mark or attack them and don't worry about the giant chicken that was just sent flying she will be back."
They immediately started attacking any fox with sickles and plants thanks to karmas luck rune tracking their original body but after a few kills no matter what they did every time they attacked a fox a orange blur passed by and they hit air.
"We keep hitting illusions now what happened?"
Karma stared at the floor there was a light trail of dust that formed a line and some footprints that weren't there before.
Rex was once again sent flying by a invisible force but karma saw hints dust being sent flying.
"Hmmm, that's no illusion we are dealing with a speed user moving fast enough that he can fake illusions I think."
"Crap, speed users are a handful, … ok new plan hold out until our speedster arrives."
All the nearby rabbits nodded to Maria's plan while Rex was still trying to fight the speed user thinking it was another illusion user.
Soon after Grey quickly found himself at the center of the battlefield where Maria, Rex and karma was dealing with a group of foxes and even more illusion everywhere.
Meanwhile Daisy was using her plant vines to gather the injured and defeated rabbits that were still alive and protect them using some weird looking cactus with a face.
Grey had his echolocation on since he ran out of his house watching the whole battle in real time.
He didn't realize at first but now that he was near the actual fighting and not in it he noticed he could hear the flow of energy from others runes and the output. "Is that sound their strength? Or the power usage?"
He didn't know which it was but what he did know was that two powerful energy's were clashing in the forest destroying the nearby trees.
He looked at the maddnes in front of him it seemed that this fox had two runes as his energy flow sounded like it parted ways like a river splitting off.
Thanks to his rune he could tell what was real and fake but he could also hear that Maria and karma were low on energy.
As they were left defending from a fox moving at high speeds saving other foxes in danger whilst launching Rex who seemed to be tanking all his hits.
Grey checked himself with his power and noticed that his bodies energy would give long before his body ran out of power for some reason.
"It all or nothing, no time to worry about after affects just do what you do best, mindless chaos." Grey told himself as he charged up his body with energy.
Right before the fox could speed hit Rex again a grey blur appeared behind him launching him into some buildings.
Grey appeared in front of Rex almost out of nowhere. "I'll deal with this one, I can see past his illusions and match his speed. Please go help the others the faster you all deal with them the faster you can help me."
Rex was about to say something but grey disappeared. She looked at the town and two blurs of orange and grey zooming between the buildings with a few crashes here and there.
Rex cursed under her breath as she went and told Maria what was happening.
Maria instantly understood the situation.
"Karma look like grey is distracting the speed fox but he's probably low on energy so we have to hurry and deal with these last few."
Karma nodded "my rune is showing that there might be ten or eleven left."
"Ok point them out I'll mark them"
A weird red flower with a yellow spear formed from the ground turned wherever karma pointed.
"There, there, there and hmmm there oh and behind us."
The flower immediately shot out a like green liquid at every spot hitting a fox.
"Every listen up trust your nose!" Maria shouted.
Karma could smell a very foul stench approaching from behind him.
Karma immediately used his bloody sickles slashing at the incoming smell.
He look back to see he stabbed a foxes paw.
It immediately clicked in his head 'that smell is from that flower she shot them with allowing us to keep track of them by smell? Neat! Just hold on grey we will wrap this up in no time.' He thought to himself.
