Jasper Rockwell immediately took two steps back. Even from that distance, he felt as if that single glare had skinned him alive.
"You used my name?" Evan Fairchild stood up.
Jasper Rockwell instinctively threw his hands over his head.
But Evan Fairchild just picked up his cup and refilled it with hot water.
Jasper Rockwell let out a sigh of relief. "It's a small production, a few tens of millions at most. Compared to your usual investments in the hundreds of millions, this is barely worth mentioning. And besides, there's a return on it! There's no way we'll lose money!"

The wide, floor-to-ceiling windows offered an expansive view. As the thought of that kid crossed his mind, his brows furrowed slightly.
