"How about we wait until Mama works hard and makes lots of money, then we can buy a big house just like this one, okay?" Melody Monroe asked, her heart aching a little. She knew she could never earn this much money in her entire life.
'I'll just let it be a white lie.'
"Okay!" Ian Monroe nodded happily.
Melody Monroe secretly breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright! Then Mama will have to work really hard! Will you cheer Mama on, Ian?"
"Go, Mama, go!" Ian Monroe quickly stood up, wrapped his arms around his mother, and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh, this is wonderful! Your kisses make Mama so, so happy, sweetie!"
Ian Monroe quickly planted another kiss on his mother's other cheek.
Melody Monroe couldn't help but kiss Ian Monroe's cheek in return.
"Come on, time to change into your pajamas."
"Mama, I want to wear my little bunny pajamas."
"How about Mama goes back and gets them for you tomorrow? For tonight, let's just wear this pair."
"Okay." Ian Monroe nodded obediently.
