After seeing the photos, Melody Monroe took a deep breath, then quickly opened her phone's photo album to send over a few adorable pictures of Ian Monroe.
The moment the phone chimed, Ian Monroe, who was reading on the sofa, immediately shot to his feet.
"Did Mom text back?"
Evan Fairchild glanced at his phone but didn't answer Ian.
"Mr. Fairchild, did Mom text back?" Ian Monroe asked again, trying to be patient.
Evan Fairchild played the voice message.
"Mr. Fairchild, look at the photos I sent."
Evan Fairchild turned to look at Ian. "It's a message from your mother, but she sent it to me, not you."
Ian's little face tightened. "Just you wait! My mom will ask about me any second now!"
Evan Fairchild sent a text: *Is the shoot over for today?*
*The shoot's over. I just got back to the hotel. I have another appearance tomorrow.*
