Melody Monroe quickly came to her senses and looked over at Ian Monroe.
"Mommy, why is your face so red? Are you sick?"
"N-No, I'm not," Melody Monroe quickly stammered, shaking her head.
Ian Monroe then noticed Mr. Fairchild lying between him and his mother.
'This wasn't how it was when I went to sleep last night, was it? I was clearly in the middle.'
Melody Monroe was even more bewildered. She had no idea what happened last night. She just woke up to... this!
"Turn off the alarm," Evan Fairchild's voice suddenly cut in.
Melody Monroe fumbled for her phone in the bag beside her and finally managed to turn off the alarm.
Evan Fairchild leaned back on the bed, still looking somewhat tired. He had clearly been woken by the alarm.
Melody Monroe, in contrast, had slept soundly all night without a single dream.
Ian Monroe hadn't slept well either. He had gone to bed too late last night and still looked groggy.
