Ian Monroe remained expressionless. Though he was supposed to play along with Mr. Fairchild, he pretended not to notice.
"I'll have Uncle Page come pick you up for your class reunion."
"It's so late already. I'm late anyway, so I might as well not go," Ian Monroe retorted.
"Ian, you have to keep your promises. Besides, I think a class reunion is a great idea," Melody Monroe said quickly.
'Ian's personality is too aloof. He doesn't really like interacting with others. A class reunion is such a great opportunity for him to practice his social skills!'
'But why would a group of kindergarteners hold their reunion at night?'
'Maybe this is just how the rich live. After all, all the children at that kindergarten come from wealthy and influential families.'
"Your mother is right," Evan Fairchild chimed in with a smile.
"Mr. Fairchild, why don't we take Ian there ourselves?" Melody Monroe immediately asked.
Evan Fairchild's smile froze.
