Suddenly, people noticed that hordes of trolls were coming to start a flame war.
The news quickly reached the admins of her official fan club.
A flood of insulting comments appeared on the social media pages for Melody Monroe's studio and her official fan club.
The fan group chat exploded into chaos.
"@MegaAdmin, is the stuff being posted in the comments true? You need to come out and say something! They have pictures and videos, and they're acting so certain. We don't have any evidence, so we can't just go fight them head-on!"
"Yeah, Admin, just give us the word. We're not going to take this lying down."
"This is because of the Best Supporting Actress award, isn't it? They're resorting to tactics like this. See? There's no other negative news about her online, so they have to invent it! They're just trying to start a flame war!"
"Who the hell needs evidence? This is obviously just hating for the sake of it. Let's just flame them! Who are we afraid of?!"
