Klein's psyche was severally affected from all the events that have happened within just a few seconds although he had training done from his past life many different things have affected his psyche during these months and with death being so close all the time he felt badly effected.
Although the situation was under control he knew that it was already affecting his ability to fight and if he doesn't solve it while traveling to the Witch Sect he could be severely affected.
These thoughts only ran trough his mind a few seconds as he was just a few meters away from the remaining mortals and about to touch the ground Klein looks back to see how far away the remaining people are.
As he looked back he saw that he has a decent amount of distance between them, he quickly looked at the other battle going down and saw that although the battle looked like a stalemate his fellow prisoner was itching the battle closer to winning.
Focusing on the battle about to happen instead he focused on the expressions of the people in front of him, all he saw was fear and hesitation probably about what they should do.
Klein felt sorry for them as they probably just thought that it was a easy way to earn some money while lazing around with no real danger.
Yet that wouldn't stop his decision.
When Klein was just 2 feet away from them he threw his knife at the guard on the right and jumped up and landing behind the other guard, hesitating what to do in a moment like this the guard tries turning around hoping to stab Klein.
Klein reacts before that grabbing the guard in a choking position and crushing with all his strength destroying his airflow pathway, leaving him will do as he will die soon anyways. noticing that the remaining cultivators are staying together and are closing in Klein makes a hasty decision.
He hurriedly grabs the guards sword and throws his body at the remaining cultivators, not wanting to slow down they split up not seeing that it wasn't aimed at them but behind them from the beginning.
The leader of the group who was fighting the mysteries young man sensed something coming to him and looked to the side to see a body flying towards.
He was horrified since if he didn't dodge with the speed it was at it would severely injure him but if he dodged he would get attacked in that moment and probably also get injured.
with it being so close he made a decision that wasn't thought trough enough and dodged but that gave the mysteries man enough time to activate the mysteries thing he used to melt the cage before when the leader saw it his mouth opened and he looked horrified but before he could react further his body melted from top to bottom.
Although it felt like it had gone a few minutes at most 1 minute had gone by and all these events had happened Klein had already ran a few meters behind the cultivator.
According to their agreement he can just relax now and they should be taken care of, as Klein got into a resting position he watched the battle that was about to happen.
As the seconds passed you could see the fear start growing on the remaining people, obviously he was waiting for something as he just stood still.
After just 3 seconds somebody couldn't stand the pressure and tried to flee, but just as he had gone a few meters and started to build courage in his comrades hearts his head flew from his body landing on a nearby tree.
The fear on the remaining two was like a flower blooming only becoming more beautiful or should he say disgusting.
Klein thought back to the knowledge he had learned on earth.
(FLASHBACK)
As Klein was doing his daily studying he was really bored since it was about psychology, but as he flipped to the next page and started to read his interest peaked.
It wasn't anything extraordinary it was just about what the brain does when offered two options, and then after choosing is shown that one of the options will lead to a horrifying death it gets the chance to choose again what does it do?
(BACK TO PRESENT)
As Klein thought about it he felt that this was that scenario, no matter how futile it seemed it felt as although they knew death would reach them if they chose a frontal attack their brain was fully stuck on that feeling of wanting to live.
He watched as the inevitable occurred as they were about to stab him his body or maybe it was an afterimage flashed he appeared behind them cutting open their necks leaving them to die.
In that moment he felt regret maybe he could have saved them, as these thoughts emerged he instantly shut them inside his mind down. Saying to himself "im already in a ruthless world unless i wanna be the Prey i gotta think like a hunter" (cheesy ass line)
He got up from his resting position although he was no longer relaxed as he prepared for the possible battle about to commence battle.
He caught something out of reflex as he almost dropped when he heard a voice "that's a basic cultivation manual if you or you're descendants are lucky enough to have a cultivation talent that should help them, there's also a test inside to determine if you have to talent".
As he was about to thank him he looked at the road ahead and saw that he was already far ahead sighing he decided to go the nearest town to search for the Witch Sect to uphold his part of the deal.
Finally The chapters are going to go faster now since i have a more detailed plan also i might come back to write this again when i have more experience.
