Here in Tokyo, at Aunt Shigao's house, voices from the near future had gathered—the voices of souls who had died due to Corona, earthquakes, wars, and fires. They reached the wall of the aunt's room, but the place could not contain them.
So I approached the disguised voices from the last century, woke them up, and asked why they had come here.
The new voices replied, "We lived in the red cloud. The wind carried us, the gray clouds welcomed us, the rain formed, and when the raindrops fell, we fell with them. The torrents swept us here. Why do you drive us away from this place? Here we find hope."
The disguised voices said, "Suddenly, nuclear bombs struck us. Our dream was to live and give humanity the best. Our goal was to rid the world of these weapons, but we were destroyed by them."
"And you are all alive," they continued. "So what have you done? Pay attention and listen carefully. Malicious voices have no place here. They must leave far away from us. We are white, innocent voices."
The new voices said, "Souls, do you feel it? The malicious souls in disguise must leave this place."
The evil spirits replied, "We cannot let go. We are attached to you. We do not want to live in hell. We want to live in peace."
The new voices became angry, knowing that if they did not leave along with those malicious voices, they would be harmed by them.
So the aunt stood under the door, telling the masked voices that the door was old and asking why it had not been changed.
The disguised voices replied, "It is from the time of Hiroshima, and it will change when that missing girl returns."
