Chapter 131 - Chief's story

The village was inhabited by a family consisting of a father, a mother, three daughters, and a son.

The father was devoted to agriculture, while the mother raised poultry and animals. As the years passed, the children grew up and became young adults.

One of the daughters was a beautiful girl who loved nature. She often sat by the valley, dreaming of meeting the knight of her dreams—for herself and her siblings.

One day, while walking by the valley, she saw a dolphin swimming gracefully in the water. As she sat near the shore, the dolphin approached her and asked:

"Why are you so sad?"

She replied:

"I have grown older, yet the knight of my dreams has not come."

The dolphin smiled and said:

"This is your chance. The mermaid has disappeared, and the fish are searching for her successor. Would you like to come with me and become a mermaid? You will find many kinds of sea-knights there."

The girl's eyes shone with joy as she exclaimed:

"Yes! I will even bring my fellow knights with me."

She climbed onto the dolphin's back, and together they dove into the depths. Splashes and songs of fish welcomed her, and soon she transformed into a mermaid.

Meanwhile, in the village, an unjust king attacked the family's home. He wanted to seize the father's land to build his palace. The mother resisted him bravely, but he had her, the father, and their son arrested.

Only the two daughters remained at home. They often searched for their missing sister near the valley. Then, one day, as they sat by the water, a mermaid suddenly appeared before them.
