Chapter 216 - Chapter 214

With a white light, the whole realm trembled, and cracks began to appear in the world. And soon the world cracked, and everything was exposed to the Dimensional Gap. And like a black hole, the Dimensional Gap began to devour the world. In less than two minutes, the whole world was destroyed, and rubble began to float in the Dimensional Gap.

And amongst this rubble, there were two people who were bloodied and injured beyond repair. Rizevim had his whole lower body evaporated, and the other half was barely recognizable as it was burned like charcoal.

Lying next to him was Euclid, whose condition was even more desperate. While his body was still in one piece, he had been burned just as badly. As an Ultimate-class being, taking a direct hit from a Dragon God was a death sentence. He was clinging to life by a single thread, saved only by the hidden trump cards he had kept up his sleeve. If not for those, he would have been erased from existence long ago.

As for the rest of the personnel that was stationed at the castle, all of them went to report to the underworld with their bodies and souls scattered.

"Cough! Cough! Damn that bastard... did he really have to hit me that hard?" Rizevim growled, spitting a mouthful of blood onto the ground.

Even though he tried to sound tough, there was a hidden fear in his eyes that he didn't even notice himself. Rizevim would never admit it, but Yahweh's power had terrified him. Even a psychopath like him valued his own life above everything else.

This was now the second time he had been beaten so badly by a holy attack. It was starting to leave a deep scar on his mind, making him feel a sense of PTSD whenever he saw anything related to the holy element.

"Hey Euclid, are you still alive?" Rizevim asked, glancing over at him.

Even though Rizevim looked like a lost cause, he was a half-step authority-level being, meaning he could still recover if given enough time. But Euclid was only an Ultimate-class being. Compared to his master, he was in a much more dangerous position.

"Cough, cough... I can still hold on, Master," Euclid whispered, his breath ragged and weak.

" Good, then let's get the hell out of here. Fortunately, we have some backup bases left " Rizevim spoke as he activated a teleportation circle and teleported away.

…..

"What a shame that guy managed to stay alive even after taking that hit. Grampa sure has gotten much softer after being resurrected " Roxanne, who was watching Rizevim's situation, spoke with a tone of regret.

Next to her, Luciana lay unconscious. She was completely naked, her body covered in red marks as she breathed heavily in a deep sleep. Roxanne was also naked, cuddling Luciana on the large emperor-size bed.

After Roxanne left Kyoto battlefield, she decided to relax and pent the gathered stress for planning all the battle strategies and schemes. So she dragged Luciana and locked themselves in one of her many mansions and duel cultivated with her for a whole week utilising the bloodline power of the Cronos clan.

In other words, while Shadow Garden and everyone else were busy cleaning up the mess on the battlefield, their boss was living a life of debauchery.

"Oh well, let's let that guy live for another few months. I'm sure with his arrogant nature, he'll come back looking for another beating soon enough," Roxanne muttered. She deactivated her clairvoyance, and her eyes returned to normal.

She then turned her attention back to her maid, who was now awake and staring at her with heart-shaped eyes. A smile spread across Roxanne's face as she pounced on Luciana once again.

Soon, the room was filled with moans of pleasure as Roxanne once again activated a time barrier, altering the world around them so that a single second outside became an entire hour inside the room.

…..

A week passed since the attack on Kyoto. After being rescued by the Gremory peerage, the Yokai leader, Yasaka, officially agreed to join the alliance. Alongside her came the Shinto faction, led by Amaterasu herself. They used the chaos of the attack as an opportunity to join the Anti-Khaos Brigade alliance.

Naturally, the one who accepted their entry was Yahweh. He had taken over as the Lord of Heaven once again after Michael rushed to Kyoto to return his old mantle to him. In fact Michael mainly came their to show his face and the attitude of the Biblical heaven faction.

Although everyone knew that Yahweh was god himself in the flesh, they still had to go through the motions. After all it is the least they could do when two powerful factions decided to join the alliance.

In fact, strength-wise, the alliance actually has enough power to deal with the Khaos Brigade right now. However, the Khaos Brigade was formed by combining many different groups, making them the "black hand" behind several pantheons. This means that if the alliance tried to go to war with them, they would definitely face fierce resistance from other factions.

Specifically, they would face trouble from pantheons that hate and fear Yahweh. These groups might actually join the Khaos Brigade in a desperate gamble to kill God once again.

While this might sound unbelievable, it is actually the truth. This is exactly why many factions didn't attack the Biblical factions that much, even though they knew God had been killed in the Great War. They were terrified that He might return and go on a suicidal revenge spree against anyone who dared to move against His people.

And what's more, with Yahweh's resurrection the one who was most scared was the devil faction. To God, devils were nothing more than eyesores that he had discarded long ago. In his eyes, the Underworld was supposed to be a garbage bin meant for the gathering of all things evil.

However, with the hard work of the devils, the Underworld had become far more modernized than the human world. To a being like God, seeing his "garbage bin" turned into a thriving civilization could be seen as a direct provocation.

So right now, the Devil Council was panicking and trying their best to act tough, trying to force the poor four Satans to make a choice and become their street thug. But unsurprisingly, these guys are still that arrogant and didn't offer any sincerity and is only wasting their breath.

Even though those four are young and foolish compared to the "old foxes" in power, they still understand the basic common sense of not going against the strong. Even back during the Devil Civil War, they only joined in because they were the strongest of their generation at the time.

Otherwise, as young heirs, they never would have risked their status to become rebels without having the strength to back it up. Talking about ideals and justice has never been the real reason why anyone fights. In reality, the only reason people go to war is to gain more resources and a higher status.

In the past, these four may have compromised with these councilmen due to the bigger picture, but now they would not hear this bulshit.
