Next Day
I managed to get up from my wonderful sleep because why you may ask? Because that my family and I are going towards a berry farm. Now from what I remember from other fanfics or reincarnation novels, the sole purpose of going to some farms is to steal a see or two to regrow these plants just so they don't have to buy them.
My family allows things about this but unlike the characters or other reincarnates, I don't have a cheat to make the plants grow in quality or in speed, but what we do have is Pokémon, Pokémon that even the farmers don't even utilize properly because I think there is more ways to upgrade the quality of these seed without a FUCKING CHEAT. Yeah, a boost or cheats are just things to take away some quality of life, but I can get wise later, right now I want Mama's pancakes before Papa eats them.
I was currently dress in a purple t-shirt with surprising black overalls, with some nice grey shoes.
Amethyst: "Lav dear, it's time for breakfast some come down please, and quickly cause you Father is eyeing those pancakes."
Jade: *Looks at Amethyst with a deadpan expression while his fork was going towards Lavender's plate. *
I quickly left my room and went downstairs and when I enter the dining room, I see Papa having his fork currently stuck to a pancake of mine and about to take it off the plate.
Lavender: "BAD PAPA"
As soon as those words left my mouth, I grabbed a marble from my pants pockets and with a nice side throw with a flick of my tiny wrist, the marble flew across the dining room and nailed Papa right between.
The sudden pain and surprise made Papa drop his fork on my plate and somehow made him flip backwards on his chair and fell to the floor, and it most likely happened so Papa can dodge it, but he was a bit too slow.
Lavender: "HAHAHA that what you get Papa HAHAHA."
I full on out busted with laughter when that happened will Mama just giggled at our shenanigan's.
Amethyst: "Now Lav dear, you know that no headshotting your Papa's head in the dining room."
I looked at Mama who had a serous face on, but her eyes are showing how much amusement she finds in this comical scene.
Lavender: "Alright Mama but if Papa does it again with my sweets, I do it again though." I said with a serous face on but like Mama, she saw the amusement in my eyes, and we were just two seconds away from laughing.
Jade: *MMmmhhh*
Papa groaned in pain while he was getting up from the floor and went to pick his fork and carefully remove my pancake from his fork or else, I would have nailed him in the head with another marble. What I may be a bit more mature than kids my age and smart, but I am still a 2-year-old, so I am naturally extremely childish.
My pancakes are from what I see, made from Jaboca Berry which looks like a cluster of yellow grapes when plucked. It has a sweet dry taste but with some nice syrup makes them quite good. Besides every know berries, Oran, Cheri, Chesto, Pecho, and Rawst berries from the games, I have no idea what this berry does yet because my parents found this one while traveling around in Kalos and brought the grown berry tree here, but I will figure it out.
When I was halfway through my Jaboca pancakes, I asked when we leave for the berry farm and I got excited from Mama and Papa's answer.
Amethyst: "Well, we will leave in an hour so that we can prepare for having a nice outside picnic there, don't you think dear?"
Jade: "Yeah I completely agree with this plan, but Lav must leave his marbles here, don't want someone to accidentally nailed someone with a marble."
Papa smiled and it looked normal from Mama's perspective but to me it was a Chesire grin, not a smile. I pouted because I couldn't bring my marbles with me, most likely cause Papa new I was going to nail him again on the head with it.
Amethyst: "Alright time to get ready leave unless you want to stay here when I let my Jynx to stretch her legs."
Both me and Papa shiver at the obvious warning from Mama words. Mama's Jynx is absolutely relentless when it comes to trying to give me and Papa a giant smooch to the point, we get nightmares when she tries to kiss us. When she first gave me a kiss, she 'accidentally' used the moved Sweet Kiss. I did some really embarrassing stuff when I was confused but Papa was worse. He was in the middle of some yard work when Jynx came up from behind him and used the move Lovely Kiss on him. Let's just say when he came back in, his face was covered in a very much questionable stuff.
Anyway, besides reliving traumatized memories of a certain ice physic type Pokémon with big lips. Mama wanted us to walk towards Pallet Town and head to the famous Professor of Kanto, Professor Samuel Oak. Yeah him, the creator of the Pokédex and the never defeated Champion of Kanto with his monster of monsters Pokémon, Charizard. Never thought I would get to see the famous Professor this early in my life, but I have a lot of questions for him that I want to ask.
Like how that unlike other Pokémon, Ghost types have another way of reproducing their own species and if we figure out how they do it, can we replicate it. How come even though that Ghost types are supper effective against physic types, but they have the same potential to use physic type moves, shouldn't the different type of energy would clash against each other?
While I was in my mental monologue my questions, they were put behind my mind when sudden a yellowed face with a mustache appears in front of me with slightly glowing blue eyes.
I shrieked in fright and jumped back and ended up having my back against Papa, while everyone was laughing at me out of my expense and was blushing really badly. When everyone was finally able to calmed down, I realized that we were already at the lab and I finally deided to ask.
Lavender: "We are here already?"
See me asking a question, Papa decided to reply.
Jade: "Yes we have been here for a few minutes already, you just didn't notice, and I'm guessing that you were thinking about something and I'm assuming it's about ghost types again, isn't it?"
I blushed lightly at my father's smugged smirk. I decided that if he was going to throw shade at me, two can play this game.
Lavender: "Well unlike you, I can think of interesting things instead of thinking how to steal my food."
Papa decided it would be a good call by giving me a sheepish smile but the mischief in his eyes is telling me that I'm so going to get it later but that then and this is now.
Oak had a curious gaze at me, wondering what I wanted to ask then Mama broke him out of hos trance and decided to ask about heading towards the garden.
Oak: "Sure, although the entry towards the berry farm is at the opposite side of the facility and actually there are three other family's waiting for me there so let's get a move on."
