Chapter 24 - - forget hope -

~Daylight, the elementary school(years ago)~

Rosamee sighed out in annoyance. She had just shooed away a few kids who were playing in the halls during class. They ran off, giggling at her. The woman leaned on the counter, really wanting to just go out and smoke. But she had to stay and watch the entrance for any visitors.

Her job was very boring. Pierce sometimes came in to have a make-out session, but the couple had gotten into a fight. Rosamee would rather call Mercy to smoke with her at the moment. She checked the clock; her break was almost coming, just 10 more minutes.

With another sigh, Rosamee heard the school doors open. It was almost her break, and she didn't want to deal with signing anyone in. With an eye roll, she looked up. Her eyes met a familiar boy—it was Pierce's younger brother. Behind him walked at least two men and a small woman. They held back, Felix leading them with his eyes completely strained forward.

Rosamee gave a smile.

"Felix, hey," she said, waving as she watched him come forward. He passed the desk, walking behind it without a word. Rosamee retracted her hand, looking behind her where the men blocked the door. The woman pulled a jug of gasoline from the bag.

Rosamee was about to say something, turning to Felix who was now at the desk, when her head was pulled back. The woman had her by the hair, smashing the back of her head on the desk.

"Ahh!" she screamed, fearing for her life.

Rosamee tried to claw at the hands gripping her hair, but nothing except snickers was heard in response. Felix was now in front of her, the jug of gasoline clutched to his chest. Rosamee looked at it in fear; she understood what was happening.

"Felix! Hey! Pierce will kill you! I swear he will, don't do it!"

The boy didn't reply. He opened the jug, eyeing the woman who was losing her strength. Without a word, Felix dumped the gasoline over Rosamee's head.

"Garh!" Rosamee gagged, some of it splashing into her open mouth.

She was let go, dropping onto the floor with the foul liquid dripping down her skin, soaking into her clothes. She began to fear for her life, staying seated on the floor as Felix walked back. She looked up, tears smearing across her face.

Felix stood a few feet away and dropped the empty jug. Rosamee noticed that he had left a trail of gasoline behind him. With horror, she saw a lighter in his hand. She began to shake, gasoline and tears flooding her vision.

She shook her head aggressively, crying out loud. "Please! Please, let's just talk! Felix!"

Nothing but a smile came in return.

The boy, who was younger than 20, lit the lighter.

He dropped it.

Fire spread quickly, traveling along the trail straight to Rosamee. She could only raise her hands before she was completely engulfed in flame.

Her screams echoed within the school halls. Cries ran along the walls; screams of pain and desperation filled the space.

The air smelled of burnt flesh and scorched clothing. Felix looked on in awe—he had never killed anyone before; this was his first time, and he was enjoying it. A wide smile spread across his face, and he wished he could see more. The woman was completely covered in flames, and to his disappointment, nothing else could be seen through them.

Still, he stayed in place. He watched her fall to the ground, landing on her back, screams coming from a mouth covered in dripping skin. She still screamed, even with her own melting flesh blocking her lips.

Felix wanted to stay, to watch until she finally stopped screaming. But the woman who had come with him tugged at his sleeve. He turned, catching the hint quickly. They walked off, Felix glancing back once to watch the fire spread.

~The Grubs, Pierce's home~

He didn't know where Pierce was. The man had gone downstairs to put the bowl away. Oxzy had heard a crash and a few fearful noises. It made him nervous, and he tried to stand up from the comfortable bed, only to fall back over. Staggering to the doorway, Oxzy opened it and was met with Pierce.

"What are you doing up?" the villain asked quickly.

Oxzy took in his state, looking up at Pierce. He moved his eyes down, catching sight of the villain's hand, cut and bleeding. Before he could say anything, Pierce walked forward. He shut the door while grabbing the hero by the waist, guiding him back to the bed while Oxzy went limp in his grasp.

"You should stay in bed. You want your fever to go down, right?"

"I'm already feeling better," Oxzy coldly replied. Still, the villain set him on the bed, ignoring the shoves coming from him. Oxzy looked up at him, gesturing toward his cut hand.

Pierce looked down. "Huh, when did that happen?" He watched as Oxzy took his hand, examining it with confusion, and couldn't help but giggle. "What? Are you gonna lick it clean for me?"

"Disgusting," Oxzy sneered from beneath him. Pierce rolled his eyes, feeling a sharp pain in his hand. He looked at Oxzy in confusion, watching him pick out a few small pieces of glass.

Pierce looked at him with amazement. How did he see those? Pierce hadn't even felt the glass in his skin.

The hero set his arm back, keeping his eyes away from Pierce. The villain smiled, leaning forward toward Oxzy's red face. The hero, in turn, leaned back, tapping Pierce's shoulder with his arm. "Go clean the wound off."

Pierce said nothing, watching Oxzy's reactions with a wide smile. The hero stayed the same, waiting for a response, but Pierce said nothing. He combed his hand through his hair and then along the hero's pale skin. Leaning down, he pecked the hero's cheek with a gentle motion.

"Of course, thank you, Ox." His voice was gentle, a soft tone matched with a soft gesture. He left the room for the bathroom across the hall, leaving the hero alone.

Once again, very confused.

What was wrong with Pierce? He was acting very, very weird for no reason. He was acting "loving" toward the hero—the hero he hated.

Oxzy found his head in his hands, hung low, countless questions running through him. Everything that had happened in the span of maybe five days was too much.

He had lost everything. Even lost his powers. He had been assaulted violently by strangers. Taken in by the villain who wanted him dead. Had sex with said villain. Been fed by the villain. Now kissed gently.

Oxzy never thought Pierce was capable of such gentleness. The man was a beast, a horrible monster who killed people. How... why was he like this?

The hero felt energy building up in him. He was healing; his body was still sore, his throat still painful with each swallow. His skin was still bruised, but he could feel his body mending. The food, and maybe, in some odd way, the gentleness with which the villain had treated him, eased him—calmed him enough to heal.

Once he healed, he would have to leave anyway. Staying here with Pierce was never the plan. He wouldn't make any sort of connection, if such a thing could even exist between them. He had to leave—the villain would take advantage when the time came. He couldn't get too comfortable.

His hand went up to his cheek; his face felt warm, hot and red from the interaction, from the intrusive thoughts. It made him feel like a schoolgirl—someone young and naive, ready to swoon at the mere feeling of a loving gesture.

His hand slid down to his neck, holding tightly onto it. He remembered when his throat had been forcefully violated, over and over, by different men. It had been suffocating. It was what made him pass out. His airway had been clogged; he believed he would have thrown up if his mouth hadn't been blocked.

He held tighter, cursing at himself. He wanted to make them pay. Everyone would pay—but he couldn't. He couldn't kill anyone.

No matter his rage... his pain.

"Are you trying to kill yourself?" Pierce walked into his room, a white bandage wrapped around his hand. Red stains showed through the bandage, wrapped rather hastily. Oxzy didn't even hear the man's words; he watched as Pierce came over, sitting only a few inches away. "'Cause I'm just saying, I wouldn't kill yourself in front of me. Or else I'd have to revive you—that would ruin your whole effort, eh?"

Oxzy glared with tired eyes. "Why would you?"

His voice was quiet. Pierce looked up to the open sky when responding. "Well, if anyone's gonna kill you," he looked back at Oxzy, who still wouldn't look at him. He leaned forward, pressing his head to the man's neck, forcing their eyes to meet. "It's gonna be me."

The hero growled at him. Pierce responded with a malicious smile that sent a shiver down his spine. The villain had his hand behind Oxzy's neck, lightly running down his spine. His hand went under the sweater, pulling half of it up to expose his shoulder, his skin littered with marks mostly left by other men.

"Same with hurting you. Or marking you..." He slid his arm gently down to the hero's back, closing his hand around a bruise on his waist. The hero flinched at the action, still keeping his lips sealed. "I can be the only one capable of doing it..."

"You're fucking crazy..." The hero sighed, a bit of fear hidden in his tone.

The man smiled at the remark, turning his head toward Oxzy's ear, and spoke in a sweet voice. "I can make you go even crazier than me, Ox..."

His voice sent a shiver down Oxzy's spine. His back arched at the strong hold Pierce had on his waist. He was so close, touching him, his mouth only an inch away. Pierce looked at him, his eyes staring right into his soul.

The hero felt fearful; the villain was no longer holding him gently. He held him with purpose, an undying urge hiding behind the look.

Oxzy wanted to run, to leave the man who was overtaking his mind, his body.

But where would he go? Run to where?

Pierce saw the fear, and it drove him crazy. He leaned forward, catching Oxzy's lips with his own in a matter of seconds. The hero moved back in surprise, but Pierce had him by the waist, pulling his body forward to press into his chest.

"Mh!"

The hero pushed at his shoulder as Pierce began to lick the inside of his mouth. Their lips parted for a second before the villain dug his tongue back down his throat. The hero choked out a sound, eyes squeezed shut as he parted his lips. His hands gave no strength as he pushed at Pierce's shoulder. Instead, he slowly went limp, letting the man explore his mouth, running his tongue down his throat before sucking his lips.

The hero moaned into the kiss, and the noises energized the villain further. He pushed forward, knocking the hero onto the bed. Oxzy lay on his back, the villain looming over him with their lips still connected.

Oxzy soon let his grip fall from the man's shoulders, realizing he was getting nowhere by pushing him away. Pierce just kept going, so instead, Oxzy moved his hand up and gripped Pierce's hair, pulling his head forward for a more intense kiss.

The villain obliged, humming to himself as the hero pulled him closer. He slid his hand down to the small of Oxzy's back, near the edge of his shorts. He gripped his waist and pulled himself onto the bed, settling between Oxzy's open legs. His knees held the hero's legs apart as his body dropped on top of him, trapping him completely.

As he shifted positions, he kept kissing Oxzy feverishly. He didn't need to look to know the hero's face had turned a deep, boiling red, his body trembling beneath him, all his strength now gone.

Still, it wasn't enough. Pierce wanted more—to reach places never meant to be touched this way.

Their lips finally parted, a thread of saliva stretching between them. The hero gasped, panting quietly, feeling as though he were suffocating. It brought back a fearful memory. Oxzy grabbed Pierce by the shoulder, using what little strength he had to clutch at his shirt.

He felt tears sting his eyes. He shouldn't be thinking about that right now. Pierce was here. The man touching him, feeling him from within, was Pierce—only Pierce.

The hero opened his eyes, tears falling and mixing with the saliva on his face.

Oxzy felt Pierce tug at his shorts. He lifted his head, meeting the man's lustful eyes. "If you wanna do it... l-let me... suck you..."

Pierce looked taken aback. He hadn't expected Oxzy to say something so bold. But it looked sincere—the hero seemed willing. His body was hot, his eyes full of desire.

The hero was still healing. If they went all the way, it would take even longer for him to recover. Pierce didn't dwell on it; he decided to give the hero what he wanted. He slipped his hand away, cupping the man's face instead.

"Alright," Pierce said, leaning forward, tilting his head to the side. "Get on your knees."

Oxzy blushed brightly as Pierce gestured toward the side of the bed. He knelt on the floor, facing the bed where Pierce now sat.

His face burned red as he shot a glare at Pierce, who had swung his legs off the bed. The hero remained on his knees, his bare skin shivering against the cold floor. Still, he crawled forward, settling between Pierce's long legs.

What now?

The hero didn't know what to do. He'd offered to "suck him off," but he had no idea how. He swallowed hard, reaching for the zipper on the villain's pants.

Pierce watched as the hero undid his pants with shaking hands. "Never done it, huh?"

Oxzy scoffed. "It's not like you have either..."

"But I've watched enough to know a bit," the villain replied confidently.

It wasn't a shock to Oxzy—the villain had a girlfriend he'd do anything with. Was this any different? Well, for one, Oxzy was a man. He also had zero experience with any of this; he hadn't even watched porn to understand how it worked.

This was all new to him, so of course it came as a shock.

Still, Oxzy pushed through with a straight face. He finished undoing the villain's pants, watching his half-erect member spring free. His confidence drained instantly. What was he supposed to do now?

Oxzy stared for a few seconds, sweat beading on his brow. Pierce sighed, mildly annoyed. "Well, you're gonna have to do something."

"D-Do what?" Oxzy mumbled.

Pierce smirked, reaching forward to tilt the hero's chin up. "Anything that involves your lips, tongue, or maybe your throat." He smiled. "Be creative."

The hero swallowed hard, looking down as Pierce released his chin. He let out a breath, closing his eyes as he leaned forward.

It was hot, not as hard as he'd expected. He forced his mouth into motion, sucking from the base to the tip. He kept his eyes shut tightly, using only his lips as he moved along Pierce's length.

Silence came from the villain's end, which confused and slightly unnerved Oxzy. He'd expected crude remarks, but Pierce said nothing.

Oxzy took a hesitant step further, sticking out his tongue and sliding it down the shaft. The villain flinched, growing harder beneath him.

Well, he was doing something right.

The hero repeated the motion, gliding his tongue up and down slowly. The villain above him huffed with impatience.

"You're good at teasing, I'll give you that," he breathed, his voice short. "But if you want to finish this quickly, you might have to be a bit more daring..." His voice trailed off, growing quieter. "Or are you too scared?"

Oxzy growled, refusing to look up. Instead, he pulled his head back, swept his hair behind his ear, and returned to the task. This time, he opened his mouth wider, taking in the tip.

He sucked gently, bobbing his head, using his tongue a little more. It felt strange—he could feel every reaction in the villain's body, each twitch responding to his movements.

It gave him a sense of power, a strange feeling of control over someone stronger than himself. Emboldened, he pushed his head down, taking in the villain's full length.

He regretted it instantly. He gagged, pulling back and coughing.

"Cagh—cough!" Oxzy doubled over, tears welling in his eyes.

He heard Pierce snicker. "Don't do what you're not ready for yet..."

"Shut it—cough!—" The hero covered his mouth, glaring at Pierce, who kept the smile on his face.

He looked down at Oxzy, smirking, his glare almost mocking. It was mocking.

The hero clenched his fists, sucking in a breath until the coughing subsided. It was enough to try again—and this time, he gave no warning.

He took in almost the entire length, running down and back up to the tip. He sucked lightly, sliding his tongue along the same spot, feeling it grow hotter and wetter beneath his mouth. Soft noises escaped as he bobbed his head in a steady rhythm.

He felt everything—the villain seemed to be drifting into the unknown, as though Oxzy were pulling the strings, drawing out sensations beyond his control. It felt good, surprisingly so. Maybe it was simply because Oxzy was inexperienced that it felt this intense.

Pierce had received plenty of attention from his girlfriend before, but this—with the hero—felt different. Or maybe it had just been too long. Either way, the villain felt as if he were in heaven.

The hero made small noises, pushing himself past his limits. He barely registered the taste; it hardly tasted like anything at all. He kept to the same technique, the same depth—it was as far as he could manage, no matter how much more he wanted to give.

The villain was simply too big; there was no way to take in all of him. So Oxzy didn't try—he maintained the same steady motion.

It was enough for Pierce to feel. His body jerked in small, involuntary movements, soft huffs slipping from his lips.

The hero felt as though his jaw might give out, his mouth forced open past comfort, yet he pressed on.

The same rhythm, the same flick of tongue, wasn't enough for Pierce anymore. His craving pushed past restraint. The hero wasn't doing nearly enough to satisfy him.

Even if it wasn't only for his own pleasure, he wanted more.

He moved his hand to the hero's hair, sliding it to the back of his head, and thrust the hero forward.

Oxzy's eyes shot open in shock. He gagged, his airway blocked. He pushed at Pierce's knees, but the villain only gripped his hair tighter, pulling him back slightly.

The hero gasped for a small breath, exploring with his tongue. The villain chuckled above him. "It's not enough..."

Without warning, Pierce drove his entire length into the hero's mouth. Oxzy felt it throb deep in his throat and choked, his eyes clouding with tears.

It began to hurt—his already sore throat battered with every thrust. Despite his attempts to push at Pierce's knees, he was forced to take in all of him.

Memories flashed through his mind, drawing sobs from his throat as tears fell one after another.

Still, the villain burned hotter, harder than before, overtaken with sensation, goosebumps rising along his skin. He was enjoying this—meaning the hero was doing well, or perhaps the villain, in his lust-driven madness, simply delighted in watching Oxzy suffer.

Unbeknownst to Oxzy, what Pierce enjoyed most wasn't the physical sensation but the look on the hero's face—a face that gave him immense thrill. It was flushed deep red, sweat and drool dripping down his cheeks, his lips damp and parted with every thrust.

The villain wanted to see his eyes—the look that gave him the most pleasure he'd felt in...

Forever, it seemed.

"Mgrh...!" The hero choked, his eyes shooting open.

The villain smiled, huffing lightly as he looked down at Oxzy, sweat dripping from his flushed face. The hero clutched at Pierce's knee, holding tight as his throat endured the assault.

The memories plagued him, haunting him relentlessly. He had to convince himself—they weren't here. They couldn't touch him anymore. It was only Pierce.

The hero looked up, his eyes meeting the villain's. Their gazes locked—Pierce's gritted determination against Oxzy's red, tear-filled stare. His heart raced, his breath hitching.

Without warning, Pierce thrust himself completely inside, his member sliding fully down Oxzy's throat, blocking his airway entirely.

The hero cried out in pain, clutching at the villain to endure it. Pierce grunted above him, shoving himself in fully before letting out a long sigh.

Oxzy felt a hot rush fill his mouth, spilling down his throat. He tried to swallow as much as he could to avoid choking, but it was too much. Some spilled out, running down his chin and onto the floor.

The hero's mouth released what he couldn't swallow. He closed his eyes tightly, sobbing quietly with Pierce's length still lodged in his throat, his jaw aching as though it might give out.

He didn't know how long Pierce held him there—only a few seconds, though it felt longer, his throat submerged in the warm fluid. Oxzy gave up pushing the villain away, dropping his hands to the floor, bracing himself amid the white drops beneath him.

The hero grew lightheaded, having forgotten to breathe while held in place by his hair. Finally, Pierce loosened his grip, sliding his hand away gently.

Oxzy gasped for air the moment he could breathe again—though the relief was short-lived, as he began to choke. Falling to the ground, he clutched his throat, bruised from within. He coughed and sputtered, spitting out what remained in his mouth. His vision blurred, tears mixing with spit and cum as they pooled on the floor beneath him.

Soon, he heard the villain sigh, moving closer before resting a warm hand on his head. "That felt like the work of an expert. Are you sure you've never sucked a man off before?"

The hero growled from the floor, wanting to shout but unable to find his voice. Even swallowing hurt, his throat burning from the inside. He wanted to vomit, but it felt too raw, too clogged to manage.

Forcing himself to throw up now would only cause more pain. He felt Pierce's hand slide down to the base of his neck, fingers tightening gently around it from behind.

Oxzy's eyes shot open, and he swung his arm to knock Pierce's hand away. Clutching his own arm protectively, he guarded his neck while glaring up at the man.

Pierce gave him a sidelong glance, a hint of daring in his eyes. The hero composed himself as best he could, glaring between coughing fits, spit still trailing down his chin.

His eyes were red and swollen, fresh tears welling as he stared at Pierce. The villain, as always, only smiled back, brushing a hand through the hero's hair before cupping his chin.

He wiped away the spit. "Still, that felt good."

The hero gritted his teeth, wanting to curse, to scream at the man who had nearly suffocated him. But what would that accomplish?

Pierce wouldn't care. He was a madman who gave nothing and took whatever pleasure he wanted—pleasure Oxzy himself had agreed to give. The more he thought back on it, the worse the memory became.

The more he dwelled on the fact that it had been Pierce—not the strangers who'd hurt him before—the more it reinforced the walls Oxzy so desperately wanted to forget.

He pulled his head away from Pierce's hand. Standing, he ignored the man's calls and walked into the bathroom, the echo of Pierce's footsteps trailing behind him.

He reached the room and shut the door before Pierce could speak. He didn't want to look at him—he only wanted to be sick.

He heard nothing from outside. Even knowing Pierce had followed him, the man said nothing as Oxzy forced himself to throw up.

He emptied his stomach, hunched over the toilet, vomit mixing with tears. Still, silence from beyond the door.

"Pgah! Guh..." Oxzy sank to his knees, spitting out the last of the white residue from his lips. He wiped his mouth, closing his eyes as he realized he was crying.

Still crying? It had already happened—there was nothing to be done now. It was over, finished. He had agreed to it; it had even been his idea. He was overreacting, surely.

This wasn't even his house. It wasn't his bathroom.

Everything familiar was gone—the safe, comfortable moments he once called home. Crillia, May, and Kamari, who had given him comfort and support.

But they were gone now.

No one else in this town, in this world, cared about him. He had lost everyone. Everything.

"Fuck..." the hero mumbled, his eyes burning as he tried to hold back the sobs but failed.

Oxzy remained on the bathroom floor, hunched over the toilet, crying and sobbing alone.
