The clubhouse was seventeen stories tall, but sand and mud had already buried it up to the second floor. After Evelyn Ford scrambled inside, a wave of sweltering heat and a foul stench assaulted her. She adjusted her mask, emptied the sand from her shoes, and rested for a few minutes before pulling out her flashlight to search for supplies.
On the third-floor landing, there was a golden metal plaque. Evelyn Ford wiped the sand off it and could clearly see the building's directory.
Baths, sauna, dining, gym, guest rooms, beauty salon, KTV, footbaths and massage, game room, tea room, cafe... The top floor was a private area marked "No Entry."
Evelyn Ford wasn't in a hurry. She would just search floor by floor. 'Since I'm already here, I have to take *something* with me.' Her greatest strength was that she never left empty-handed, no matter what she did.
