Six stood there as pain assaulted his senses, unable to move. He had just been patrolling the grounds when something shook the brush from the side, and when he turned to investigate it, he felt something pierce his neck. From there, pain radiated throughout his body.
With a monstrous effort, Six managed to turn his head enough to catch a whiff of blond hair before he blacked out.

.
Hours later, Six woke up. The smell of antiseptic and bleach clouded his nostrils, while glaring white tiles on the ceiling made his head hurt. As he tried to move his body, he felt pain flare up across his body. It felt as if thousands of ants were biting him all at once.
Six recognized the poison that was running rampant through his systems—venomous tunneler poison extract. And from the way he was feeling, it was a concentrated version so that it was even more potent. So potent that it made it hard to move, even with all the tech from the Big MT still in his body. Just as he was about to get antivenom from his [Pip-Boy], a hand gripped his left arm. Seeing who the culprit was, Six was surprised to see him.
.
"Stay calm, Courier," Ulysses spoke as he pushed his arm down. "This is a trial, one you are meant to overcome. Fight, like we once fought together. And you shall become closer to what you once were. What you always were meant to be."
.
And with that, Six blacked out again. But, during his blackout, he saw various images and heard countless voices. Some sang parises, others grievances. But one thing stood out from the rest: two faces that were vivid enough that Six could see clearly. An instinct that overwhelmed Six that he knew who these two faces were.
.
'M-mom, D-dad?' Six thought as the faces vanished before they were replaced with a scene, in which he finally understood.

When Six awoke, his body felt light; lighter than anything he had felt before. As he sat up and looked around, he found himself in Recovery Girl's office. Sitting up and swinging his legs off the bed he was on, Six got up and found his gear on a table next to him. With but a thought, he grabbed his clothes and put them on. As for the armor, he smiled and stored them away in his [Pip-Boy]. As he armed himself with his weapons, he heard the door to the office open.
Without needing to know who was coming in, we pulled Ulysses's jacket out from [Pip-Boy] and threw it on. When he turned around, he found a stunned Recovery Girl. Wondering if what she saw was true.
.
"Six?" She asked tentatively.
"Yes?" Six asked politely.
"How are you-" She asked, but was cut off by Six.
"Alive?" Six chuckled, "Well, one can't get rid of me that easily. As for how I survived, well, you can say an old friend/enemy came to my rescue." Six said as he ran a hand through his hair.
"Should I call your wives?" She asked.
"No," Six answered, "I need to talk with Nezu first. They can wait a little."
"Your funeral," She said as she stepped aside to let Six pass.
"And please, call me Dylan," Six spoke as he passed her and headed to Nezu's office. "After all, that is my name."
.
When Six said that, Recovery Girl nearly dropped her cane. She looked at his fading back as he had his hands in his pockets. That's when she realized something, he was walking differently than he usually did. Instead of a man wound tight at any moment, he now walked with the grace of a man on a mission. If she had to compare the past and new Dylan, one was a monster in human skin, and this one was a graceful predator knowing it was the king.

When Dylan found Nezu, he found him with his head in his paws with a look of defeat on his face. Dylan gently knocked on the door frame. When Nezu looked up, he saw that Dylan had a gentle smile on his face. Which unnerved Nezu.
.
"Six, how may I help you?" Nezu asked slowly.
"It's Dylan, and I just need the lowdown on what happened while I was out," Dylan answered and asked the very thing that Nezu was worried about.
"I'm not sure how to answer that," Nezu replied evenly. "As far as I know, you were attacked by an unknown intruder-"
"I saw blonde hair. The attacker was shorter than me and had a glitter-like effect attached to them." Dylan spoke seriously, his eyes narrowing ever so slightly. "I know who it was, just tell me what happened afterwards."
.
Nezu, ever the clever mind, knew he was backed into a corner. With a heavy sigh, Nezu recounted the events that had happened while he was out. Including Toru, having seen what happened, and her subsequent report and capture of the attacker, Yuga Aoyama. Once he was captured, and revealed that he was only doing this to keep his parents safe.
.
"I understand," Dylan nodded, "More than you understand. Have we come up with a counterplan or a plan of action?"
"We are still deciding what to do," Nezu sighed, and was a bit scared. "However, I'm surprised you're taking this so well."
"You mean scared, right?" Dylan smirked at the principal. "Let's just say an old ally had a hand in taking this matter into his hands. Making me realize how much I've been missing since that bullet took my memories."
"YOU REMEMBER?!?!" Nezu's shout echoed throughout the halls nearby.
"Yes, I do; mostly," Dylan chuckled, "I'll admit there are still a few hazy things, like how I got there or how it was even possible, but for the most part I do remember."
.
Nezu gulped. He had a lingering suspicion that now that Six, or Dylan, knew more than he let on. As to how much, he had no idea.
