Silas had been very patient up till now because he didn't have a clue to Yue Ran's whereabouts and dared not act rashly in case any irreparable consequences were to happen.
Now, however, the situation had shifted dramatically. A surge of rage twisted his features as he turned his wrist, the movement fluid yet fierce. In an instant, a long, gleaming sword emerged, its blade catching the light and reflecting a cold, menacing glint as it pointed directly at the forehead of the man standing across from him.
The two looked at each other, and the atmosphere in the air was stretched taut like a tightly pulled bowstring, ready to snap at the slightest provocation.
"Andre," Silas hissed, his voice low and filled with deadly intent, "if I can destroy you once, I can just as easily do it again." The fierce glint in his eyes promised violence. "I'll ask you again; where have you hidden her?"
