Chapter 274 - 00273. Thor already has fans.

Thor lifted up his glass and finished it before he said, "This drink, I like it."

"I know, it's great-"

"ANOTHER!"

Ezekiel's hand snapped out and caught Thor's wrist as the man tried to throw it. Everyone stared at the two of them as Ezekiel said, "If you like the drink, just ask for a refill. Don't smash the cup on the ground, it's considered rude by Earth standards."

"Oh… Okay." Thor said as he slowly lowered his arm and placed the glass back on the table.

Ezekiel nodded as he waved the waitress over before he pointed at Thor and said, "Could you bring him a pitcher, he's thirsty and really enjoys your lemonade."

The waitress gave a sugary sweet smile and squeezed Thor's large bicep as she said, "Coming right up sweetheart."

Thor smiled in return at the woman as Jane glared slightly at her and Ezekiel held back a grin while Darcy covered her mouth to hold back a laugh. After the waitress left the table Ezekiel patted Thor on the back as he said, "Looks like you're popular with the ladies."

Thor laughed loudly at the comment as Jane deepened her frown. Ezekiel shook his head slightly as he asked, "Still want to get drunk?"

"Not anymore, but more of this pizza would be great."

Darcy glanced around the restaurant with a slight frown as she said, "You know, when you said you were taking us to Genosha, I thought it would be…"

Darcy waved her hand around at the pizza place as she added, "Some place cool, not a pizza place."

"I'll have you know, this is one of the best restaurants on the island. Besides, who doesn't like pizza?"

Thor nodded in agreement as he grabbed another slice and took a bite before he said while talking with food in his mouth, "This is one of the best things I've ever eaten."

"See, even a millennium old god agrees that pizza is the best."

Jane choked on her drink and after recovering she finally said, "There's no way Thor is a thousand years old."

Thor nodded in agreement as he said, "You're correct Miss. Foster, I'm actually close to fifteen hundred years old."

"What!?!" Darcy exclaimed with widened eyes as she looked over Thor a few times while Erik also did the same.

"I told you, he looks human but he's a completely different species. By normal Earth standards, Thor is close to his early twenties at most."

Thor nodded with a smile as he said, "Most of my race tend to live for four or five thousand years unless they are deities. Those blessed with divine power like me can live significantly longer."

"So all of the stories from my ancestors are true?" Erik asked with intense interest as he studied Thor.

"With a little bit of creative liberty added on, but for the most part the stories tend to be true…" Ezekiel said as the waitress dropped off the pitcher and gave Thor's arm another squeeze and winked at him before leaving.

Thor happily refilled his glass and grabbed another slice of pizza as Jane frowned at the waitress. Ezekiel watched it all with a smile and chatted with the group over the next couple of hours before he portaled them back to New Mexico. While Ezekiel could have easily found Thor a place to stay, Erik and the others offered to take him in first. So Ezekiel kept quiet and instead gave Thor a cellphone and showed him how to use it.

After he left them, Ezekiel ended up back where Mjolnir was and found the entire place sealed off by Shield. Since the site only contained a hammer that couldn't be moved, Hydra didn't bother with it. So the entire site was filled with real Shield agents that were already tied to Ezekiel's organization and led by Coulson.

When Ezekiel stepped out of the portal, he was greeted by an arrow which he caught between two fingers before he threw it back. Up above him on a walkway a man with a bow snatched the arrow out of the air and stored it away as he said, "Your reflexes are crazy."

"It's not hard to do when the world looks like it's moving in slow motion."

Hawkeye placed his bow in its harness before he vaulted over the railing and landed next to Ezekiel as he said, "Did you come to try your luck?"

"No, I wanted to check on the place and wait for the hammer's owner to show up."

"So someone is actually worthy?" Hawkeye asked as he glanced at Mjolnir a few feet away.

"Thor, the god of thunder from Norse Mythology." Ezekiel said as he turned towards the stairs and headed up to a temporary office area with Hawkeye in tow.

"Oh… That's above my pay grade, I just shoot stuff with my arrows and don't ask questions."

"And that's why Fury loves you, you're the perfect little agent… I still can't believe he talked you into joining Shield."

As they stepped into a room filled with monitoring equipment Hawkeye asked, "Both organizations are tied together so tight that they might as well be the same thing. Plus isn't the idea to purge Hydra and then fully merge them together afterwards?"

"That's the general idea, but you didn't need to switch early. Now Fury treats you like a second Coulson."

"No he doesn't, I'm only called in when a mission needs my skills. Coulson is worked like a dog and never has a day off."

"That's not true, I just finished my vacation." Coulson said as he typed on a computer without looking up.

"And how long was it for?" Hawkeye asked as he pulled off his pack and dropped into a chair.

"About two days before I was called in to handle this."

"That's not a vacation, that was a normal person's weekend." Hawkeye said as Ezekiel nodded in agreement.

"After this is sorted out, my vacation starts over and I get a few extra days as compensation."

Ezekiel grabbed a seat and moved it over next to Hawkeye as he said, "Well, at least Fury isn't completely heartless."

"So, what's the plan?" Ezekiel asked after he sat down.

"The Director plans to let whatever is supposed to happen, happen. He doesn't want us to interfere any more than necessary."

"He's talking about Shield, right?"

Coulson glanced over his shoulder at Ezekiel as he said, "He would appreciate it if you didn't interfere, but he knows you won't listen."

"Good, because I've already met Thor and was planning to call him over here so I could watch him cry when he can't lift his hammer. It should be a pretty good show."

"You're evil." Hawkeye said as Coulson nodded in agreement.

Ezekiel waved the comment off as he said, "It's gonna happen one way or another, I plan to be around to watch… And record it."

"He's definitely evil."

"And both of you technically work for me." Ezekiel said with a smirk.

They both shared a glance and nodded before they ignored Ezekiel who let out a laugh. Ezekiel spent the next couple of hours hanging out in the temporary base as he talked with Coulson and Hawkeye while he waited. He wanted to see if Loki showed up early or only after Thor did. There was also the possibility Loki didn't show up at all, but then again Thor was on Earth so maybe Loki still tricked him into attacking the frost giants.

Ezekiel spent most of the day relaxing and chatting until Coulson mentioned a spell he was studying. Within moments of the conversation being changed, Hawkeye stood and grabbed his gear as he said, "I'm gonna head back out before one of you mentions something that will make it hard to sleep at night again."

"Are you talking about the demon thing?"

Hawkeye covered his ears as he quickly walked away and said, "I'm not listening."

Coulson glanced towards Ezekiel who shrugged helplessly as he said, "Muggles."

Coulson's face cracked and he let out a short laugh before he asked, "Seriously? You're really using that word?"

"Why not? I wrote all the books, I might as well use it. Plus it's already caught on with others after I gifted them the series. Even Tao uses it."

"Didn't you say they were made by someone else and you stole it?"

"They don't exist in this world, so I'm just just helping extend the fandom. If they want to come collect their dividends from the book sales, they are more than welcome to do so." Ezekiel said as he spread his arms out in a welcoming gesture and added, "Until then, I'll keep an eye on it for them."

Coulson shook his head and turned back to his work as Ezekiel said, "Speaking of, do you want to join the cast for the show? If you can't act, you'll only get a minor role as a non-speaking character though."

Coulson's head whipped back around as he asked, "Wait, you're really making a show?"

"It's the only way to do it properly, otherwise it would end up as ten plus movies. So an online series with one season per book makes the most sense."

Coulson nodded along before he said, "I'm not an actor, there's no way I'd be any good. Plus I'm too busy with work."

"You're a spy, that's basically an actor with a gun. As for your work, I'll just tell Fury… If you pass the audition that is, otherwise you'll get a guest appearance or an extra role and only need to shoot a scene or two."

"I'll think about it." Coulson said as he turned back to his computer until Ezekiel teased, "Are you sure? We're building a complete replica of London and the wizarding world for filming. We're also using magic, seals and technology to make it as accurate as possible."

Coulson lost his calm for once and popped out of his chair before he grabbed Ezekiel by the shoulders as he said, "Where is it?!? Take me there, I want to see it!"

Ezekiel raised his arms up in surrender with a smirk on his face as he asked, "Settle down, I thought you were busy with work?"

"I'll leave a clone to handle it."

Ezekiel chuckled as he said, "I'll show you after we finish up here. Plus it's still in the early construction phase, you won't see much besides earth work and the planned layout."

"Where are you even building it? Just the school with the lake and its surrounding area will be massive."

"The original plan was to do it on Mars, but once I settled on it being a life like recreation with everything working… Well, I placed it in my personal pocket world so it's mine after filming."

Coulson frowned slightly as he asked, "You have a pocket world? When did you even get one? And how?"

"Don't worry about the details, just know that I have one and it's growing. One day it'll be bigger than the Earth."

Coulson let out a heavy sigh before he said, "Now I know why Fury doesn't like talking with you."

"So you don't want to see it?"

"No! We're going once this is done and you better let me tour it once it's finished too."

Ezekiel let out a short laugh before he said, "Just message me when you have free time and I'll give you a tour."

After Coulson sat back down Ezekiel asked, "When Thor shows up, are your men going to try and stop him?"

"Fury wants to test him depowered against baseline humans."

Ezekiel nodded slowly as he said, "Fury's already worked with the valkyries, he should know what he's dealing with by now…"

"He still asked me to test him."

"Whatever, at least it'll still be a decent show." Ezekiel said as he relaxed in his chair and pulled out his tablet to wait. He planned to text Thor after sunset and send him the location, until then he worked on a few projects while he talked with Coulson and anyone else who showed up.
