Hearing Gale trying to reason with him, the man slowly brought his hands together in a slow, mocking clap, as though Gale had just said something truly astonishing.
"That's exactly why Joseph and I came here!"
"It would be better if you didn't touch him at all, sir. I'll take him home safely."
The man tilted his head slightly, his gaze dropping to the pistol Gale still held in his hand. His eyes narrowed, the smile lingering on his lips.
A bad feeling settled in Suga's chest the moment he saw that robotic smile, and he instinctively parted his lips to warn Gale. Before he could say anything, however, the man straightened again, letting out a loud yawn as he lazily stretched his body.
It felt as though all the blood had drained from Gale's legs, yet he still let out a quiet breath of relief when the man took a few steps back.
