Most of the patients in the Leprosy Camp were waiting outside the tent, eagerly anticipating the results of the treatment, whether it was success or failure, they were prepared.
However, no one was willing to give up that slim chance.

Among them, Baldwin's tall figure was particularly noticeable. He was allowed to return to care for those leprosy patients, but he had to avoid reinfection.
Thus, what he wore on his face was not a mask but a face covering, draped with cloth to cover his exposed body, and gloves—basically fully equipped.
However, he seemed somewhat worried because, although he had regained much of his hearing, he did not hear any movements from the patients. Instead, several doctors were discussing something he couldn't understand, and it was quite intense, which was obviously not good news.
Moreover, the treatment he received was very painful, so he was unsure if the others with their fragile bodies could endure it.
