Chapter 23 - ☀️CH 23: Seeking My Limits

Going to the volcanic area was scrapped after Cerberus, as well as going to the poisonous marsh, hurricane fields, and deep sea after integrating the kraken and several other creatures.

From here on out, I just wanted to see my limit. Could I just keep going, what was causing restrictions on integrating elementals, dragons, phoenixs, angels, true demons, true devils or true gods?

Why were there little to no restrictions on animals, beasts and a specific few in their evolution path?

"Artic," I commanded while pondering my limit and identifying the next creature.

Swiftly changing terrains I was in the arctic.

"Werebear" I thought, already having the mythical polar bear slected. Quickly I started changing. However, before the changes could properly set in I did notice that, I was completely unaffected by the cold.

Yet, my body was going through other shocking changes. My height skyrocketed to 11 ft and my body became incredibly buff.

Seeing the changes I confirmed one of my hypotheses.

I had noticed, insect sized or smaller and Were type creatures had an interesting immediate physical alteration.

While larger or more mythical creatures seem to have less physical alteration and more physical incorporstiation.

Like how the kraken added the biological process to generate and manipulate lightning.

Putting the confirmed theory on Werebeast type creatures into play I thought of weretiger, werelion and werecat (werecheetah specifically).

Immediately my height condensed down to 9ft, then again to 8ft, then one more time to 7ft. My hair became wild, my aura deadly yet majestic and my body shaming even Greek gods. As I reached a perfect balance of extremely muscular and extremely lean, yet not overly defined or overly buff.

While admiring the changes I felt my muscles expand, contract, and condense as they moved around and rearranged themselves to perfectly fit the mix of creatures I was becoming.

My recovery, although still controllable and my ability to choose how I heal, still there. The physical control I had over of my healing had changed.

I could clealry feel the flow of my body, and the rush of cells. With but a thought they accelerated.

Cauaing every process on the cellular level to speed up to astonishing levels. Levels far superior to the pitiful regenerative abilities of humans.

Then with another thought it became slow. Seamlessly, I transitioned back and forth between slow and fast. Intirgued by the newfound controlled I went from to slow to fast to max.

This pushed my regeneration capabilities further and further. Rapidly speeding up my transformation and healing process. Until I hit the peak of high regeneration and my body was completely morphed into a beast.

Yet, I swore I heard biology whispering that this was my current regenerative limit.

Immediately I thought "starfish" and my entire body began to itch. However from my memory I knew starfish still take extremely long to regenerate from months to possibly years. Still better than humans however to the me now, that was useless.

Analyzing every creature and living thing I knew of on earth I thought of slimes. Immediately as if hundreds of ants were crawling under my skin I felt the itch increase exponentially.

Taking it a step further I thought of the collosal monster slime. Nothing happened.

Then it hit me as I realized I was reaching my integration limits and everything went black.

Slowly, my vision recovered. My body took on completely new properties, almost as if every cell had been transformed.

My skin became resilient and flexible, akin to the toughest rubber, capable of withstanding immense pressure and impacts.

My already flexible muscles, infused with incredible strength. Now allowed for even swifter and fluid movements.

Closikg my eyes I felt my senses sharpened dramatically. As I could see around me without omnivoew and with my eyes closed.

My mind felt clearer than ever. With increased elasticity I was processing information at lightning speeds.

Additionally, my metabolism was reengineered, granting me near-instant regeneration. Along with a surge in my energy levels like an unending reservoir of vitality.

At this moment my body felt oddly perfect. Yet oddly imperfect simultaneously. It was strangling, because I knew my flaw.

I knew there was one more environment I needed to experience. Yet there was no real way of knowing if it would work, until I tried.

My whole aura became serious and solemn as I said one word.

"Space"

Immediately a light column hit me and I reappeared in outer space.
