Jaden woke up in his room at the same time Carisa woke up in the forest.
At first, he was confused about his whereabouts but later when he looked around his room and saw the picture frame of his late parents on the wall, he finally understood where he was.
He had always dreamed of home for a very long time but never had a chance to enjoy his home.
He didn't even attend his parent's funeral when they were buried or at least have a family of his own all because of Lewis's obsession over the Energy Source they discovered in space.
Before the discovery of the Energy core, they only visited space twice or three times a year but after Lewis discovered the energy, they were spending almost half of their lifetime in space.
Jaden was almost thirty-two but had no family of his own and the worst part of it was that he was the only child and son.
The last time he visited his house was seven months ago. Because Lewis never allowed him to stay properly on Earth or have his own family.
It was also because of this that Lewis made him his assistant and decided to pay him a huge amount of money because he knew he would never resist the urge.
And why Lewis needed him so much was because he was the main leader and the controller of the ship while Lewis was just the owner of the ship.
Since he hasn't been in his room for over seven months now, his room appeared tattered and dusty. Spider webs could be seen hanging around all four corners of the room but still Jaden doesn't mind.
He hugged his pillow as if his life depended on it. How much he has missed the scent of his room.
All thanks to that portal that he was able to escape death and was able to sleep in his bed again.
"Hold on a second, didn't that alien boy follow me here?" Jaden remembered as his mind went back to what happened in Ectopia.
" And he is going to avenge the death and destruction of his home and family members. Dizirela was the cause of all this but we couldn't have done anything because we are weak. Now Earth is in danger just for our stupid mistake and greed" Jaden lamented as he stood up from his bed.
" No, I must report to the headquarters before anything happens"
He went to his wardrobe and changed into a nice-fitting shirt and trousers even though they appeared dusty before leaving through the door.
He has yet to discover that his life has taken a drastic change.

Carisa was just looking at the hunters in total confusion as they made their way toward her.
As she couldn't understand their language, she didn't know if they had good intentions toward her or bad ones.
So she stood there until they met up with her and started pulling her to all sides.
Everyone wants to have her first.
They continued pulling her until the thing became unbearable for her, and she didn't know when she awoke her powers.
She became invisible and untouchable like a spirit.
At first, She didn't know what happened but was happy that she got released.
"Hmm" She sighed exasperatedly, " Thank you all for releasing me. I almost suffocate "
This was a new power that has appeared in her genes due to the division of the Energy core's power.
After the explosion of the Energy core, everyone in that underground got a taste of the power but some were yet to discover their power.
" Where is she?" The first hunter was looking around in search of Carisa.
" Did she just disappear?" The second hunter asked with fright and confusion.
" It's like we are dealing with spirits. We need to get out of here before she comes back for revenge"
With this every one of them ran off; and Carisa, seeming intrigued and confused over the sudden action they took, followed them in her invisible form.
After some minutes of running, Carisa found herself in a local place in China. The place looked ancient, if not for the little infrastructures built here and there, the place could have looked like the olden days of China.
At least they had electricity and limited mobile facilities.
Carisa, feeling so intrigued by the environment, started walking around as if she was taking a tour of the village.
Carisa became so immersed in the fun she was having that she didn't know when she became visible again.
Luckily for her, where she appeared visible was a fenced and lonely area. What brought her attention to this place was the artwork that was kept there.
Statuettes and sculptures of different kinds are being built here for tourist sites but fortunately for Carisa, she was lucky enough to find them.
After walking through the area, the next place Carisa found herself was in the market. At the sight in front of her, Carisa's eyes glittered like a child that was brought to a shopping mall. With speed, she ran into the market with joy and started touching everything in her sight.
The first thing she saw was kittens that were being caged for sale. They kept looking at Carisa and she could feel the pity in their eyes.
"Uhh uh uh" Carisa admired, "these creatures look adorable"
She was about to touch the kittens when she felt something hit her hand.
" Don't disturb those animals, you crazy thing!" the angry seller yelled.
Her appearance made the seller address her that way.
Carisa took a glance at the woman. Although she couldn't understand the words the woman spoke, her instinct was telling her that it was because of the kittens that something was thrown at her, so she walked away.
Another place she went to was where dogs were being kept for sale. The dogs on seeing Carisa began to bark furiously. They kept barking to the extent that it brought everyone's attention to Carisa but she didn't care.
Carisa, noticing that the dogs were barking at her, came closer to calm them. On getting closer to the first dog, the dog attempted to bite her but she quickly moved back, dodging the attack.
" Ugh, you guys are so violent" Carisa groaned in anger as she walked away.
On her way, she came across a reddened basket of apples and her eyes were attracted by the colors.
" Oh, what's this?" Carisa asked in admiration of the apple as she picked one, " it's so colorful"
She then tried to put it on her nose to get the scent but got startled by a deep voice.
" Hey, what do you think you are doing!?"
