Rest is short for this team. The motorway incident followed them into these grounds, there has been barely enough recovery to be deemed back on schedule. She seen plenty of the indicators of this being planned attacks, executed with intent. Always Raven would ruin a plan before it causes harm or meaningful damage. His routine of going around the set path during free time never changes, because any deviation has its knock on impact to other groups of the campus. Not exactly Orphanage when they are rough kids earning their keep. She doesn't make any changes of his rounds but she will protect him directly from outcomes or harmful intents.
Morning was breakfast with the party, divide for two classes. Join back for Lunch. Two more divided classes. Last class as party. Free time. Food. Curfew to be in dorm by a time. Bed time is when his the last to lock up. No diverting paths. No changes. Free time is the same building to building check in. Move papers in some classrooms. Put back registers along the way. Fire alarm checks. The same stop stare at a creep plant growing along a wall. Which, she learned that was the black vine that is pest control for the classrooms. Not the dorms.
So what was pest control in the dorms? Little did she thought that it be answered soon enough from a break of routine.
There was small developments that changed him softly to taking the walk slower. Someone was on purpose putting the registers in the hard to reach places, set with curse traps. The attempt to bleach pour the black vine was met with minor conflicts. The plant settled on its own. The very person that did it was grown on their desk the next evening, this was handled by elders and experienced hunters. Someone broke a fire button to not work, the electric would have volt directly into Raven of she didn't do it for him. His own items are slowly missing. His whole team lost items periodically or rather by her tracking. The items are being stolen. This was minor things that didn't stop daily life. Until the day it wasn't.
The morning that she felt it all cascade was met with a feather. A ink bird corpse laid at her pillow. She did not kill it. Something else did and realized it was a message to late. She sorted this with reverence, Raven started that morning without her company. By second class she joined him, the task the teacher prepared wasn't prepared. Someone deleted the slide show parts. Not everyone of his party joined for first break. Which according to them was a tell something happened and they will take the rest of the day with caution. By lunch, someone got Raven blamed for something which he had no defence for. He was withheld behind. She met with the group in his stead, meeting the two who been in a terrible state from Break. She removed the bad charms off them. She brought a light food to Raven before classes started up. Which turned out to be tests. During the second paper exam, she interrupted the cheater and made show of the cheat being excluded. She eyed others not in for the cheat but the empty space that created. She sat there, prevented a spell casting plan. Finally at last class which was combat. The practice weapons where stolen.
And she eyes the team whom suddenly had spare kit suddenly. The teachers out for themselves, as in the other groups did nothing about the blatant dirty tricks, do not care about shared equipment. What they didn't know was that a personal item was excused as share equipment or the teams lacking enough for their session. She logged the exact group, the ones that share the other half of the upstairs rooms. The punks that been leaching off Raven and his group good fortune. The teacher leading that group has a personal vendetta against Raven's lead teacher.
"Look at your brats. They not even equipment for the combat. What are you training them? Fist to fists like toddlers." the venom spat while the leader is holding the scar over the temple from crash weeks ago, still with whiplash issues and minor inconveniences. Stress ticks alive, involuntary display of letting get to them. The party each take inventory of what they do have and what is left. Smart kids adapting with what little that got. Use to this treatment. Use to rolling over and moving on. This was a normal occurrences that they have just get on with whatever, instead of wasting time.
"Equipment." She took out old bits from storage, stuff from the undertakers trainers ground. The equipment is far better respected then the shared ones this campus supplies. The eyes sparkle with the party as each finds comfort in these weapon types. The weight needed to become stronger and the balance better set. That these are dulled not to harm. She began coaching the minimal while the 'adults' are busy. She touch gentle in getting the team to hold and stand better. She want them to survive, not be military order. The party of the bullies were slowly loosing momentum in their own training, stopping to stare at the freak monster being a better instructor then any offered here at the Orphanage. This they do not say or admit - rather turned silent and watching. Staring with intent. She ignores this. She accounted body shapes of the party, combat styles that would improve with tactical slight changes and preferences that individuals took in what weapons suited them. She softly was instructing about easy hits when the two teachers frozen up. The 'adult' teachers stunned of the way this was not what the Orphanage provides about training.
"A quick death is mercy." She cheers as someone executed a perfect throat slice on a training wood figure that wasn't there a second ago, "Not everyone has the luxury of being dead enough. Not all creatures kill you out right, they are the worst." This life advice put the watching team in shunned horror. The staring of how vicious this type of training was turning this team into.
"My wife isn't human, I think we got that. Right?" Raven sighed like that was the bazaar answer to what they gap about. He stood back in helping the wood targets being pulled with her tendrils at his whip moves. He was giving pointers on others while she helped the helpless.
"What hunter ranking is she exactly?" Asked by the mid class fighter wiping away sweat, panting hard. This was working better then any previous trainer's sessions before. A taste of what Raven put up with when she floored him that other week.
"In a court, she's a respected jury. In hunting she average to the local hell realms. She has license to poach the abnormal and Clothus law breakers." He counted off what he does recall, putting the control of the wood dummies down, "She makes regular client exchanges with the unexpected." Her shadow was sinking away the wood dummies she owned. Her shadow pushed the not wood dummies back away from them. Eyeing these mocks with her abyss sight. The mock know, she knows. The mock being are doing exactly what they were trying to accomplish the frist time with the lacking equipment; to replace those equipments with itself. She makes them know that wasn't necessary without alerting the group. She has observed something of a pattern she is going to break. Her shadow slips the stolen personal item from the bully groups piles into her storage.
She pretending to be teaching, not her full focus and thus not her full strength of effort. She was putting the original owner of the stolen item on the floor as a demonstration about disarming, she slipped the item back on them. She knew that she gave back a stolen thing by stealing it back. This person knew then it was something they couldn't find a second ago, says nothing about the stealing back and does not make action about the return of it. Just that they simple held this item back tightly, a treasured dagger that is a part of the fighter's past. Raven figured it out, he covers the trick by making them focus on him.
"If you ever needed someone to calculate debt by body parts, you will find that most demons come to her with disputes that can't agree on." He spoke quickly with a clap, "As if she had the higher expertise of authority in corpse organ collection." This distraction was working and making everyone rethink about her handling of this teaching session now, "She hunts the things across the realms. Many types. She has a whole species documentary processes about it all. Helix foundation has her on file and her background data is inaccessible to average folks."
The whole set of information held more tongues in each listener was handling. The two rival adults hung about the Helix foundation being brought up. The rival team afraid of her evaluation of their organs. The members of his party seeing her in a new light as a legit authority and a new fear.
The background listener realizing they weren't hidden from her this whole time; the very suspicious black steel sword leaning on a wall in shadow among the stolen equipment. The false steel swearing a bead. The false sword turned into a ball, a innocent looking football and gentle rolls in non-existent wind away form folks. She watched it carefully. She smirked to herself in winning the respect of the things that took to long to realize that she knew.
"You!" The rival teacher spat with pointed accusing finger at her and she back to focus, "Under whose earnings did you steal to obtain that equipment? I don't question how you would obtain them- you're not a human. You have a merchant ID. It is simply affording it. A thing isn't allowed to use the human traders posts. You clearly stolen it."
"Oh boy. Human trading posts aren't the places to exchange at. You clearly never crossed any of my regular clients." She shook, "Worse if you did meet them, they didn't bother trusting you to tell you the truth. You know it is bad when they don't trust you. They didn't say another about me, that is terrible. If they liked you, they would have warned you."
The rival steps to spat at her with more words. Yet that pulled attention of others. That this was getting to out of hand. Making another group's teacher approach with a loud crack of whip. Preventing things slipping any further.
"This isn't the time or place to be making such a distraction. Get on with your training." A side line other party sharing field had enough of the dominance display and finally spoke up to have the leaders gets their acts together. Gladly they go separate ways. The envy eyes of the equipment the team is sporting to train with. This party does a few drills that the main leader put them through. His measuring... she sees his analysing the health of the group, the concern under the nerve.
"Well now we aren't being interrupted." He gestures and everyone pauses. They come to stand around in a huddle together, "We are taking the next mission to the exchange centre. It is our turn to bring back valued supply." The group groans how they aren't recover that much yet from the last mission. Someone rubs their ribs, another muttered about liking the bed they got this time.
"Barely alive from crash car." Tossed the training stick down with negative energy. The group looked down about it while any other group would jumping in joy about leaving off the grounds.
The looking of fields filled with different teams practicing tactile survival, she sees the hidden watching eyes. She picked up all the equipment and putting back to the storage she has.
She checker her Sigil pane for the market information and the local crests of reached undertaker kingdoms. She noticed interest of world access to crests from other tectonic plates. She was plenty freezing in seeing a few lost kingdoms coming back to life, she then has a notification that her alliance from the years under the crown keeper came through. She was plenty distracted to point of forgetting her surroundings.
"Take." The leader poses over in his left hand the stack of document about the mission, "I don't have all the permissions." She takes the whole stack with absent mind. Her eyes had to blink and adjust, reads the physical human papers. She sees why she seeing her notifications have gained signal about. She then slid these papers into crystal, soon disappeared. The information is automatically calibrated through her body crystal's computing system. Her soul years of filing Sigil guild work and assignments. The paperwork is being systematically ordered, files sent with the right laws and then there was an active mission with the tokens proving the request taken. She takes out this tokens as bird feathers, softly soon ties each in everyone's hair. She used normal thread. She then took out the main bird carrier from her shadow, putting it to sit on the leader's shoulder. She nods, it nods. She sits coiled around Raven's feet. They all looked at the feather they been gifted, the starting of the colour shifting depending mood or person.
"Ugh, can I have the paperwork too?" Raven asked her. She wafted the pane at him and he can't see it. Palms her head, and then removed it to human documents. He takes them as they reformed from her left hand lifted up. He gingerly took them from her strange hand shape. Shuffles the pages. He then passed them over to the leader. The leader hard gulped in the new information, the permits filled and mission active. The leader starts shuffling the files faster, seeing why they are chosen. What is meant to be another deadly trap to have them all slaughtered; then the off sets of things she triggered. That her taking of the mission caused interest in groups that never helped before.
"We need a proper talk about why there are groups that never helped us out before, suddenly very keen to be meddle due to you." The leader putting these papers into a neat file he had already on a clip board. He sighed with holding his head hard from the aching. She sees the curse that is attacking him. She considered removing it. She looked to Raven in his permission and he mustn't have misunderstood. He turns to the party with answering things they were priavtely slipping into.
"It is a strange world. A stalk of grass in a meadow of others is wondering why its so hidden." She tilts softly spoken over towards the leader. She coiled out, stretched like a cat with flexibility that makes toes curl. She got off the floor and up to two legs. She adjusted to her sharp mock human shape, "A meadow is full of grass stalks, other plants and the insects that cross pollinate between then." She fussed about her hair, pondering what style she was going to pin it into. Raven stepped over, tugged her to lower. She kneels and he braids her hair. The leader shuffled the files over. Raven made a vague throw left hand gesture in his point, the absence left her hair briefly and she felt it.
"You have a lot of admin powers that could invite the travellers closer." one the team was saying thoughtless ponderings. The mage kid made a tongue click in loosing spot light. Raven shook softly of that being a bad idea, he seems more like petting her hair. Conversation between the team was about what they were packing with them and the sorrow of loosing their rooms again. Heard from one them; 'Maybe they actually give use a proper apartment room when we get back.' That earned a stare of doubt and killed optimism. Raven did a gesture again, and they raised a brow.
"We can look at moving into a proper house with enough rooms after we return." The leader growls a little in a soft pain twitch, "I did say if we can make the rankers board because we success a famous enough task, get a sponsor. We would be moving off grounds."
"Actually..." Raven interjects this with his point and looked to her, "Could I buy a house for us?" She tilts with checking the banking systems, she sees his permissions are locking her out. She tries a few other measures and it met with understanding why.
"I don't know how much you have. You blocked me, for complicated reasons." She wafted hand side to side like it was burnt, "I have enough to be a nomad. If I settled, I would have to do a lot of shipping. That gets expensive." She leaned into him, "I can stick around for as along as you need me. We both know I need to keep walking about. I am always chased by my past lives. I am always going to be snatched to be a book counter." He leans matching her. He deeply thinking about that.
"Did the shadow hire you for something?" He asked in a worried wobble. She sighed with small petting his side.
"We are neutral allies. I know his deal. He knows mine. We both share a common interest." She rolls her shoulders with adjustments and stood back to normal. She makes a stare of checking the surrounding creatures that hide in plain sight, "This university campus is not as safe as you think it is. It has nothing to do with the Black vines in the learning buildings." She strains her sight over the fields, "You are here until a sponsor takes you and gives kit." She soft hummed with looking at the 'top' rankers of this field, "All those that made the rankings don't seem like these that should have made the board. There isn't something right about it to me. What am I to judge, though?"
The leader froze up his searching the papers and looked at her. Raven leans back on her, now that she stood up. Raven continues small talk among the team. The kids are trying to work out who will carry what. Softly in words between, there was slip about the weight of a crystal chest. There was pout about leaving behind the equipment that the bullies took from them. The weight of a spell book was huffed. Then the quiet kid in having seen enough about this group soon spoke up.
"I can carry all our bags." They all turned hearing this kid out, clearly there is a past. This kid was a replacement. Likely the newest member before Leana came about. They have finally made a choose to stay with this team, and to start learning to offer a hand to learn trust. Trust earned enough but not all the way, "I am a cursed. I gained it when I came back as the only member in my previous team." The drag a a foot at the floor waiting for the drama that comes with this label. Every other team treats the shadow ability kids with two ways. One is that of slave to the point of being over worked for nearly piss poor treatment. The other way is a negative against their scoring for the board - kept at arms length with no trust.
"That would help a lot. I have only been about to keep the emergency supplies and magic components." The mage kid sighed glad there was going to be someone else to help with the load, "I can't trust the monster with my stuff." the prick eyes about her, "At least I can trust a human to be a human."
"Wife, can you sponsor us?" Raven voiced next, and with a soft tone into her. Turned away to not be visible when he speaks to her.
"Only need to ask." She purred with soft lean to brush his head, "Although I am still measuring." She nods honestly in looking back up at the party, "I was also trying to figure out a sort of timeline. Trying to feel out each options."
"You lot didn't react to the cursed thing the way I was ready for." The quiet kid voiced. The group make their welcome of the kid clear. The third option that likely wasn't what any other group would have gave.
"We have been trying to tell Welrick that the closet isn't going to eat him." The dagger girl, the one returned from nearly being stolen, laughs and gives a very warm head scruff over the mousey quiet kid finding his voice.
"Oi! It is the only furniture that breaths!" The mage hissed. She softly looked at the kids, nodding about this topic. She looks at each of the group. She tilts wondering if they knew.
"The dorm hasn't any black vines." The quiet kid works out, "None of the dorms has a pest control that I have yet to find." She makes a face of debating to tell them. Raven smacked her side, in being the way of telling not to.
"Clearly there is something in place. We are going to pack up to leave anyway. If I am right, I could be getting us into our own house." Raven takes the quiet kids hands, "I think you noticed by now. This group isn't the same as others. Each of us are together because we have our own issues. We have worked together because we chosen to use the flaws to advantage."
The quiet kid staring each of the group with plenty of measures. She made a smile, as it fits that this group was oddities. That Raven would surround himself in such a way. She was back to staring about the teams of the fields, the strange objects lingering about watching constantly measuring. The so call score board of top sponsor teams is a digital one made by the Sigil rankers.
"We have cloaks for light protection." The mage Welrick added, "We have plenty of crystals for when the hunger hits. Lilly has holy water to ease down her hell curse, something to do with have demon's ancestor." Welrick rolls his hand as he listed these things openly, "Raven is... well before he got himself a creep. He is still has this way of predicting things. He has been guiding us when Joana can't. Heck, Joana sometimes asks him for advice."
The slide looks of this wasn't private secrets. The hell curse thing clearly is what dagger girl got herself into big issues with. The crystals for damned to not starve is a tell they been to places not suitable for kids their age. That it is public rumours this group gained. Nothing said just now wasn't private. This was not the time and place to be private talking. The staring was doing a job, the quiet kid understood they will talk better at better time.
"I am going to end this session early, let you all get ready." Joana the leader, he did the paper register right then, "We leave as soon as possible. I have to find transport." He clasps the clip board tightly and leaving his party alone. The party looked at each other and followed behind. The rivals relaxed seeing them off. And worked harder with better focus, seeing the losers off.
In fact, they took over the space made. Already was an idiot among them trying to steal more equipment, picking up the sweaty sowrd off the wall. Very proudly shows off the sowrd find, assuming it was someone's from the losers. She snorted in not keeping it in about that. She had to cough herself into not going to far with that laughter.
"You didn't leave a prank, did you?" Raven pulled her arm.
"Oh, no." She cleared her voice up, "It was there the whole time. Nothing to do with me. I promise." He grips her for saying such a promise. Yet it is proof of her trust of him. That she can be causal in making human made vague promises like this, no strings or lies.
"That isn't ours." The dagger girl makes sure the group doesn't turn to stare, "It isn't our fault or problem. Don't look." Pinched someone for about to look back.
"But I am being a little serious about her sponsoring us." Raven voices with continuing his point, "She has the backgrounds, the contacts, the money... heck. She knows about everything that I do in a spirit way. I have my human blessings and the divine gifts. She... she sees like ghost. She sees the things I can't always. She is why she is the answer to when things get rough. And before you say that she isn't a human again." He looked at the mage, "She's a human soul that been changed. She a tome keeper to add to the scary things that she does. Which I find this is why she can remove souls out of everything." They looked at him like his crazy.
"I am a soul language eater. I am picky eater too. I don't just eat the essence of every single soul that I meet." She corrected and hands on his shoulders as she matched steps with him, "I don't eat souls. I don't actually harm anything other then memories and energy." She tilts with checking who is hearing her speak, "This has its own magic casting issues about me. I can eat magic. I can alter it as you are crafting it. I can steal it. I can do all those things to anything with a soul. Eat energy. Alter it. Move it about. store it away or bring it out."
"Right, none of that makes sense." Welrick shook with finding his sense of understanding being confused. Plenty are stuck on the mention of souls, like it was a concept they didn't have a foggy about. Raven shurgs of this, that he did somewaht get what she meant in his own ways. That he replaced 'energy', 'soul' and other parts with his own assumptions like 'script of divine casting' and 'the calories burnt to cast the script'. Not perfect but he accepted this.
"Shady divine ghost put into a meat mutant body." the quiet kid concludes.
"Oh, well that makes sense when you put it that way." The dagger girl hooked arm with the quiet kid, "Thank you for my dagger." She softly voiced. Leana nods gentle back.
"Seriously, right when we are right there? How blunt can they trash us?" the annoyance was building. They all turned quiet for a bit as they make it around to the dorm. Climbing the stairs when anyone spoke up again. This was about the real items they cared most about to be taken with. The stuff they hid.
"Check ahead of us." Raven pats her and she shurgs. She soon jumps the centre of the stairs faster then they can walk. He clearly was going to talk about things she didnt need to hear. She makes it to the... well that was a double door. That was a door with a glass pane. She is instead staring at a soild flesh wall. She stares deeply of it.
"Hey, half the dorm is back early." She told the 'door' It turned into a dark door soild door, "I know about you. I wasn't going to tell them." She voiced and it puts a glass orb into it... an eye to stare point with, "The bullies of the other half stolen their stuff... You help them." The orb changes spot to see the group coming, "How about if I give those bullies a prank they aren't going to forget. A bit of entertainment." the door shot stare back at her.
"We are listening." She grins, "What you got in mind?" She moves closer and opens the door for the party. They strange clears away hidden in time. She helps whip a few with her tail to be back in place. Helping the mock rooms look unassuming. She watches the group going into their moved bedrooms. Minor choas as they report what been nearly stolen again. What moved... the wreck it was left. Annoyed that their tidy spaces was going to get them in more trouble.
"So I have a real gun... I want you to mimic one." she whispers with the door and other strange objects, "I am going to give the kid the mimic. I leave it up to you to make the shot realistic. Convince the kid that its real bargin to trade. They get to have all yoru space. We are leaving. I have meat for you as a peace exit gift."
"I see." The door wobbled a little. She knocked it to shape as a member was passing by.
"Ugh, what you doing?" the kid notice her leaning by the wall.
"Just stuff." She flustered that they need to move away, they slowly staring at her odd.
"Raven, your freaks talking to a wall."
"A wall..." He noted and poked his head, looking at her, "Wife, where's my hat?" she stares a long time with wondering why his asking her. He should have it. She catch a glimpse of the hat being moved at the bed post of the bullies room.
"Dont worry about it for now. Pack." She stares through him, he feels the weight of this, "You have one guess on whose room its in." he slide about the bullies room. The locked doors of the rooms that weren't messed. The 'clean' enough. The better treatment is blatant, stemming back to the rival teachers issue. He stares about the changed dorm door and slowly he back to packing. He was soon between helping packing, since he finished his personal pack quickly, eyeing other dorm changes.
"I wish I can take my bed with me." the one huffed.
"I think I have a better one in storage. You can each have new matressess too." She clamps this kids shoulders and softly trying to smile, "Only take what you own. No extras. The extras are just more weight." The kid sighed and back to packing. Others stare odd of the warning. Raven unpacked a few things due to it. He encourages that her warning isn't a joke. He sticked around Welrick since his room as the closet that breaths. As there was a lot of bits coming together in his understanding.
"Can I borrow and feel how that gun works?" The door asked her since they are distracted again, "I love this prank idea... I love to see that kids face when I go to bite him." She was invited into the bullies room, that door unlocked itself. She steps in and quietly began stealing all the stashes she can without it being obvious.
She takes out a easy to mimic gun. She shows how it opens. The gun safety part of how it is hand. She shot three different real guns into a wood target. She lets the things... feel the before, after and the how. It shot a fourth time. There was a rush to getting everything sorted, Raven throw the room door open and snatched her by the collar to get out of what should be a locked bedroom. The door locks behind, the real gun slipped back to her.
She was dropped at the middle of the way, the party is scrambling for the last parts. Someone was panic searching about a necklace. The dagger girl was helping them. Raven is helping the lads with sealing some energy causing weapons that been luckily untouched in the hidden places. There was a dark glaring by Welrick, he looked through a bedroom that was locked. He can see the stolen necklace... sees the hat. He was crunching his hand because his spell book was harzadly thrown on the floor. Welrick had a jaw tick.
"Losers are leaving! About time." the dorm corridor was busted loudly, rudely kicked open. The bullies pushed and shoved. The lead of the pack smirks of his room looking untouched, gaps the few items to taunt with. Wearing the necklance. The hat. Holds the spell book upside-down with folding the corners of pages randomly.
"Thanks for the sword." The other member stabs the wall beside someones head with the found sword. The girl with the dagger pulled her team mate out of the way as the sword was pulled back. Everyone eyes the stolen items... puts on their bags. A little bit of stand off... a sting. clenched fists.
"Well then." She plays with the a shot gun openly, oils the barrel and everyone slide a gaze her, "Permission to hunt?" She asked her partner, "I just can leave this place without collecting my dues. I have valued enough source of meat here for market worth. Skins for leathers." She puts the oiling away. She opens, loaded and clicked it loudly.
"What the heck? Where the hell did you find a gun? Guns are banned!" Baffles plenty. She slow blinks and aims lazy. She did very boring shot through the glass of a locked bedroom, those folks weren't in the room. Her shadow side went in following to raid and steal stashes from that private room. The kids become shouting and heated. In between moment before fists, she shot a new room window to back down the fight. Her shadow raids the next rooms. Clean sweeping the place. This was her agreement with the things. But it not the full show yet.
"What is going on here!" The rival teacher snatched the 'shotgun' from her, "That will be mine now. How dare you! This is the proof I needed." He so quick to leave after that. She raised a brow watching the teacher carry the shot gun down the stairs. She does a few poses of bafflement. She sighed and picked a new 'gun' up.
"Where was I? Oh yeah, I have a deal to make." She purred, "The shot gun of blanks was a movie prop. I look forward seeing him trying to kill someone with blanks." She chuckles and a goon goes running to twaddle tell. She loads this new 'gun', aims at the runner. But doesn't take the shot. She sighed in being disappointed, "Oh, well this one would kill the goon. His name just flicked in the death book." She lies, "I will file the near death report." She does actually file a real copy of that, twice, "This name... this time. This place. And grim fee." She explains with holding the gun correctly down with discipline, "There we go..." She looked at the bully with shiny eyes, "You." She pointed her left hand, "A gun is worth more then the necklace, hat and book." She aims for a door frame over the shoulder of a goon and lowered again, "This one is to advance for you." She mocks with putting that one away.
"I get it, you want to trade my stash... and you give me a gun."
"With ammo." She lifted her left hand softly in adding it. Raven tilted confused about her hand use, and looked around at the missing glass shards. There was plenty of tells of things not being right. moved around to the side of the door to the stairwell, closing it shut. Everyone stands divided sides. The team with helping each other strap up. The bags going to the quiet kids shadow storage. The mage checking what he has left for spell use, shivering at the moment to cast magic at the bullies. The dagger girl holds the mage back, she noticed something very off to warn him in time. Raven softly moved everyone to safe spots, realizing something is about to go down. As she just filed several more near miss death reports ahead. The fact a ink bird is staring at the bully group, he can see it.
"How can I tell these are real? How did you get them?" She rolls a joint lazy.
"I guess my accent has lost a lot since being here." She chuckled, "Years of scavanaging the death trap of the State side." that gleams eye bright, "I got my ranks hard earned."
"I give you my stash if you give me a working gun, right now." She took out a old busted thing and he throws it on the floor. She figure that much, at least it was a real gun. Not loaded. It would have shot a bullet if he didn't throw it on the floor like that. His jammed it now, its useless, "I want better." She uses a 'gun' and shot past his shoulder. Missed his ear, he felt it brush him. The wood spray at his back. He dropped in shock. Everyone covered ears with the loudeness of a shot in a confined space. Everyone ducked. She walks over, dropped the 'gun' with a 'box of ammo'. She did the safety, obiously. She acted as she should with a gun. It was empty before hand off.
He lite up and loads it. No disapline. The goon crowd around. She sunk into all the rest of the bed rooms. She openly took back a lot of kit. A lot of stolen things. She sunk it to Raven's shadow, the quiet kid and the mage got his spell bits back. The book thudded back on his chest. The others got things back. Hat on Raven's head. Necklace over the owner. She scuffed heads softly, and pushed them to get leaving. She was pulling tendrils quickly. They kicked fuss for a few steps but she gave a blank stare. Feet were moving.
