The producer who collaborated on "The Empress's Killing" had a great relationship with Director Chen, and the two almost always worked together on every project. Director Chen loved to be hands-off, leaving all the trivial logistical tasks to this producer. Nan Jiaojiao interacted with him quite a bit; he was humorous and easy-going, with a daughter whom he absolutely doted on.
As he arrived, he wanted to greet Nan Jiaojiao.
But Nan Jiaojiao walked past him without a glance.
Zhou Po suppressed a smile and dropped his hand that was ready for a greeting, tugging at his coat instead. Remembering Director Chen's reminder when he came, and seeing how the young lady pretended not to know him, he found it amusing.
"Producer Zhou, this way, please."
