After putting her in the back seat, Bo Yanching drove. It took over an hour for what should have been a half-hour drive without traffic.

Chu Yao and Mo Tingshen probably returned earlier, knocked on the door but nobody answered, guessed that they hadn't come home yet, so they left without calling, just hung the stuff and left.
Bo Yanching entered the password to open the door, hooked the pastry box with his finger, and carried her inside.
She didn't make a fuss but didn't move either. From changing shoes to bathing, and then being placed in bed, it was all Bo Yanching serving her. Once she lay down, she refused to let go of him. He stood beside the bed to catch his breath, and she wrapped her hand around, tugged his shirt, and pulled the hem out of his trousers. Just grabbing the shirt wasn't satisfying enough for her; she closed her eyes and groped around, trying to find his hand.
