Guinella blinked several times, taking a deep breath before slowly exhaling.
Airi was still listening attentively. Her fingers rested loosely on the table, while her eyes held a mixture of seriousness and patience.
"Anti-Esper weaponry."
The words left Guinella's mouth without hesitation.
"Father isn't just developing technology." Her eyes narrowed. "He's developing something dangerous. Mechanical weapons specifically designed to fight Espers."
"Hmm. Is that your conclusion?" Airi asked.
"Murad showed me his prototype before he fought him. A mechanical gauntlet. And if Father has already reached the testing phase... then this military project is far bigger than some ordinary family business."
A brief silence followed.
Airi rested her chin on one hand, her blue eyes narrowing as well.
"Indeed, they're not ordinary weapons. Actually... they're self-defense weaponry. Humanity's weapons against astral beings. And perhaps..."
