Hatt gets reincarnated as a teenage boy in the city of Ancient Rome.
Hatt first objective is to learn their languages and to survive though the vast city of Rome.
He spent his first few weeks wandering the streets, observing the people, and trying to understand their way of life, he realized that he was also getting starved so he decided to communicate to every people and ask for their help.
He found a person who helped him get a job, his first job was a farmer. He learns the way of farming after a few days and gets paid. He understood how the currency work by observing people that buy.
At that time Hatt is only a poor person, sleeping in the streets because he does not have enough money to buy a place to rent.
Hatt had been in Rome for some time now, he has now a place to rest because he earns enough currency to pay the rent by farming and he had come to love this city and its people. He had made many friends. But he knew that he could not keep his old name if he was to live among the Romans. He needed a new identity that would fit in with the culture of this ancient city.
One day, Hatt went to the local temple and sought the advice of the priestess there. She listened to his story and understood his difficulty. She suggested that he choose a name that had meaning and significance in Roman culture.
After much thought, Hatt chose the name "Lucius." It was a common name in Ancient Rome, and it had a strong, masculine sound to it. The priestess approved of his choice and blessed him with his new identity.
As Lucius, Lucius felt a sense of relief and freedom. He no longer had to hide his true nature or pretend to be someone he was not. He could now fully immerse himself in Roman life and culture.
Lucius had been living in Rome for several years now and he is a 21 years old man, and he had become accustomed to the daily life in this new timeline. He had learned to speak Latin fluently, had made many friends, and had even become a respected member of the community. However, there were still many aspects of Roman life that he did not fully understand.
One day, as Lucius was walking through the city, he overheard a group of men talking about the upcoming gladiator games. Curious, he approached them and asked, "What are the gladiator games?"
The men looked at him doubting. "You don't know what the gladiator games are?" one of them asked.
Lucius shook his head, feeling embarrassed. "I'm still learning the ways of Rome."
The men laughed, but one of them, a kind-looking man with a bushy beard, took pity on him. "The gladiator games are a spectacle held in the Colosseum," he explained. "Men fight each other to the death, or to the cheers of the crowd. It's quite a spectacle."
Lucius was horrified. "That's barbaric!" he exclaimed.
The men shrugged. "It's the way things are here. It's been a part of our culture for centuries."
Lucius left the group, feeling troubled. He had always thought of the Romans as an advanced civilization, but now he saw that they had a dark side as well.
As he continued his walk, Lucius came across a girl selling flowers on the street. She was shy at first, but Lucius smiled warmly at her and asked about the different kinds of flowers she had for sale. They struck up a conversation, and Lucius learned that her name was Lucia.
Over time, Lucius and Lucia became good friends. She showed him the sights of the city, took him to her favorite restaurants, and introduced him to her family. Lucius was touched by their kindness and generosity, and he felt a sense of belonging that he had never felt before.
As he continued to learn more about Rome and its people, Lucius began to see the city in a new light. It was a place of contradictions, with its grand architecture and its brutal gladiator games, its rich culture and its poverty-stricken neighborhoods. But despite its flaws, Lucius knew that he had found a home here, among these people who had welcomed him with open arms.
He knew that there was still much he didn't understand about Rome, but he was eager to continue learning and growing alongside his new friends.
