That was when she turned her head and saw what was behind her.
The door seemed to be blocked by a layer of hardened cement that had piled up in the place where the hole in the wall had previously been.
When her light blue eyes rested on the blocked hole where she entered, she stood in place, quite shocked at the sudden development. "Damn..."
Rather than staying there, being shocked and too stunned to move from the sudden change and surprise, she regained her composure and put up her guard right away.
Anything could happen in the present situation, so it was not a good idea to show any weakness and to let herself be caught off guard by anything that could come out at any given moment.
She put some distance away from the blocked hole and positioned herself in the middle of the room, away from the walls, allowing her to gain a better view of her surroundings and to not allow anything to be close to her if it was to pop out of anywhere.
