Carmen and Trystan were confused with what the gargoyle's said, so Carmen had to stare at him on behalf of the both of them because Trystan weak, since gargoyle's don't blink he just looked at her pointedly and said "since Lucifer passed some of his powers to him, it's only a matter of time before Lucifer visits him". "that's why we're trying to bring out every trace of Lucifer in his blood" and the gargoyle's made for Trystan again but Carmen stopped them and said "you're hurting him" the gargoyle's diverted their attention to Carmen and looked at her like, can you hear yourself woman, Carmen then said "I know what you must be thinking but Trystan is not evil, Lucifer can't make an appearance again" the gargoyle's then said in unison "Lucifer is a manipulator, he manipulates the best of men plus Trystan is not the very best" Carmen stared at them and gave them a questioning look, the gargoyle's saw through her and said " Trystan hasn't used his ability for good, he takes the advantage of being feared to destroy things" Carmen looked at them and realized, gargoyle's were not easy to convince, once their mind is made up, it's not very easy to convince, then Carmen gave them a reply that shut them up "how can you be so sure that Lucifer isn't manipulating you" "since I'm the princess of heaven and he's the prince of hell, it only makes sense" "don't worry, I'll stop Lucifer" "I won't let him manipulate Trystan" "I won't let him make a come back" The gargoyle's being mind readers saw pure love and affection and decided to let Trystan be, because Trystan was so weak and Carmen had no idea what to do, they stayed with the gargoyle's, on getting treated, Trystan finally regained his energy and wrapped his arms around Carmen lovingly, Carmen had initially thought that, since gargoyle's are literally stones they might sleep on floors to get some rest but they had rooms, they had everything humans had so Carmen and Trystan were left in a room, on being alone, Trystan realized he had never felt so happy in his whole wretched life.
