Listening to the sound of Rafael's crying from behind, Fisher knew clearly that this scene was most likely false, a hallucination caused by some unknown reason, but whether out of guilt or something else, his steps suddenly halted in place.
"Rafa..."
"Fisher, I'm sober now, did you prepare a wedding ring for me? Although we're already married, it won't do without a ring..."
Fisher's words came to an abrupt stop, he looked up dumbfoundedly, suddenly feeling a layer of piercing cold frost on the ground that sent a chill up his spine.
He looked up to see Valentina coming out from the woods ahead, stretching lazily. She was smiling, still immersed in the lingering joy of waking from sleep, but soon she saw him and Rafael behind him.
"Who is this?"
She was slightly taken aback, the joyful expression upon seeing Fisher gradually faded, quickly spreading a terrifying chill from the bottom of her heart.
