Our grace is naturally neutral, we might maneuver through it because of personal interest, but we cannot truly pick a side without cheapening our own divinity. We exist to be impartial, or so the nature of our origin demand."

He gestured toward the two spheres hovering in her palms, his eyes bright with realization. "But with this? You are bridging the chasm. You are becoming the god they imagine and desire, rather than the one you choose to be. You are simply handing them the distilled fruit of their own labors. You are granting them the power they prayed for, returned to them in a shape they can actually wield."
