"I'm not what you imagined?"
The surprise was too much that I wasn't able to control the expression on my face.
With the surprised look that I had, it wasn't surprising that they had been able to guess what I had been thinking.
Since they had already guessed, it wasn't as if there was a reason to pretend otherwise. That was why I just gave a nod in response.
"Well, it's only normal that I wouldn't be what you would imagine when it comes to one of the god's messengers. I think that the only reason that I was able to become one was because of the god that I served."
There was a trace of bitterness that was in their voice when they said this.
It was clear that they were fully aware of how strange it was that they had been able to become one of the god's messengers, but it also didn't seem like they put themselves down too much.
This god's messenger should have been alive for a long time now, so it was only natural that it would come to terms with this eventually.
