When I opened the door, I found that there was nothing different about this room.
The only thing that seemed out of place was the maids that were here, but they didn't seem hurt. There was this layer of golden light that was around them that seemed to be keeping them in some form of suspended animation.
Other than the maids, there was only one other thing that attracted attention in this room.
It was the crib that Arthur was sleeping in.
Even though all these things were happening outside, it didn't seem to bother him at all.
In fact, one could tell that there was something that was blocking off all the sounds that were outside the moment that they stepped into this room. It seemed like whoever had put up the barrier was taking care of Arthur.
Or it might just be his own power protecting him when he was in danger.
"Is there anyone here?"
After a moment of silence, I suddenly asked this question.
It was just that there was no answer that came in response.
