"There's no reaction." Max said after he finished his tests on the spike.
I looked at him with an expression to explain this further.
After all, what he said wasn't enough to actually tell me what I wanted to know about this spike.
What he said could have either been a confirmation or denial of what I wanted to know.
However, it didn't seem like Max was in a rush to answer.
The way that he looked over the results of the test showed just how uncertain even he was of the answer that came from them. It seemed like this was something that he wasn't able to figure out right away even with how much of a genius he was on this topic.
Because of that, his bad habit was also triggered.
There was an excited look on his face as he looked over the results.
In the end, I had to give a cough to draw his attention back or else he really would have ignored everything to focus on this spike.
