"It's been a while since we've seen each other."
I didn't say anything when they said this, but it was a fact that it had been a while since I had been at one of these meetings.
Since I started experiencing life, I hadn't shown up in any of these meetings. I had left these meetings to the prime minister since he was more than capable of handling those meetings.
But there was a reason that I had attended this meeting today.
It was all because I was involved with the matter that was being discussed today, so I had no choice but to attend.
"So we've heard rumours that you've made a breakthrough."
Though they were being tactful about it, it didn't seem like they were able to hold themselves back. The looks in their eyes were more than enough to show what they were thinking.
I wasn't surprised either since it was the reason that I had come to this meeting in the first place.
After a moment of silence, I slowly gave a nod to confirm what they were asking.
