Kaneki: Sigh~ Tomorrow is the day where everything gets revealed huh?
After the Higanbana girls left his room, Kaneki was outside of a convenience store catching some air.

But he wasn't alone as his older sister, Kotori came with him to catch some air and also prepare him for the upcoming day.
Kotori: Here's the rocky road ice cream you wanted, Kaneki-chan.

Kaneki: Thanks Onee-chan.
Kaneki grabbed the wooden spoon and the big cup of rocky road ice cream and began eating it alongside Kotori who was eating her own ice cream.
Kaneki: Man I can't believe the time moved so fast.
Since the day where He, Shino, Yuuka, and Miku would finally reconcile and truly fix their relationship is now very close. Kaneki had grown a bit nervous.
Kotori: Hey Onee-chan... Thanks for the help you've gave us.
Kotori smiled as she listened to her brother thanking her, before replying herself.
Kotori: It's only natural for an Onee-chan to help her younger siblings when they're in need of help. Gulp!
Kaneki: Yeah... Although it seems Natsuki is going to discover their identities soon so yeah... I guess after tomorrow I won't be seeing Shino, Yuuka and Miku for three days.
Kotori: It's alright, you won't lose your mind if you're separated from them for three days. Besides you can sleep in with either Sachi-chan or Chi-chan.
Kaneki: Honestly I think would prefer sleeping in with Sachi instead of Chi-chan.
Kotori widened her eyes as she heard such and unusual thing from Kaneki.
Kotori: Why not? Do you dislike her apartment or something?
Kaneki: No it's not that...
Kotori: Then why?
Kaneki: Well... You see...
Kaneki explained to why he didn't want to sleep in at Chikao's apartment.

Kaneki: Alright! Okay so apartment room 218 got it! Alright let's go get Chi-chan!
When I was gathering everyone for our game, after I've gotten Yuuka and Natsuki our next target was Chi-chan.

Kaneki: Good evening Chi-chan! We're to to invi- WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!
Chikao: Kaneki?!?!
But when we teleported into her apartment room after I was given the coordinates by Yuuka, I saw her apartment completely covered of pictures of me.

Kaneki: It was honestly very unsettling, it's not that I dislike it or anything. But I for some reason have this feeling I shouldn't be alone with her for a long period of time for my own safety.
Kotori: Oh my that's concerning, but I guess it makes sense. Compared to the other girls Chi-chan's love for you seem to be the most heaviest so I can understand where you're going.
Kaneki: Gulp! Man this ice cream is so good. Yeah, Sachi's is definitely the safest option.
Kotori: Oh and another subject, I'm going to undo my hypnosis on the adults tomorrow by lunch time.
Kaneki: Hehe~
Kaneki was relieved with Kotori saying that she would undo her hypnosis on not only their parents but also on Shino's and Yuuka's parents.
Kaneki: Good I was getting tired of them being hypnotized anyways, but you have to prepare yourself Onee-chan. Because we're going get scolded.
Kaneki thought being scolded would hurt his older sister so he gave her a warning to prepare herself.
Kotori: Hehe~! Don't worry about me, Kaneki-chan! I'm actually looking forward to it!
But she was actually looking forward to it which caught Kaneki by surprise.
Kaneki: Huh?! That's not something a child should be looking forward to get from their parents.
Kotori: Heh!
Kaneki: Wipe that smug look on your face! That's not something to be proud about!
Kotori: Hehe~ ... Hey Kaneki-chan.
Kaneki: Yes?
Kotori: Good luck tomorrow, I'll be cheering you on from afar.
Kaneki: Thanks... Oh but please don't watch us? We might get nervous-
Kotori: I know, I'll be focusing on helping Chi-chan and Sachi-chan distract Natsuki-chan.
Kaneki: I see, thanks.
Kotori: Well then shall we head home now? It's getting really late, we can't let you dozing off on your big day!
Kaneki: Hehe~ Yeah let's go, my cup is empty now anyways.
Kotori: Let's go!
After throwing away their cups, Kaneki and Kotori walked home.
Pat!
Kaneki: Onee-chan?
And as they walked, Kotori patter Kaneki's head before saying.
Kotori: Good luck, Kaneki-chan.
Hearing Kotori cheering him on made Kaneki happy, he smiled before giving something unexpected to Kotori.

Kotori: Woah!
Kaneki: Thank you Onee-chan, you've been helping them behind the scenes while watching over us right? Thank you.

Kotori responded softly as she returned a hug as well.
Kotori: "It's only natural for an Onee-chan to help her younger siblings" Don't Tell me you've forgotten that.
Kaneki: Hehe~ I didn't, well let's get going.
Kaneki then let go of Kotori after expressing his gratefulness to his sister.
Watching his back slowly getting further ahead of her, Kotori couldn't help but feel relieved.
Kotori's thoughts*
(Kaneki-chan is so happy, he is finally, truly going to fix his relationship with Shino-chan, Yuuka-chan and Miku-chan. Once it is done and Natsuki-chan finally understands the truth, they'll all be happy.)
She imagined what the future would be after the reconciliation is done.
(Kaneki-chan might even start dating them, and once dating is done comes marriage. Eeek! I can't wait!)
Her imagination was pure and innocent and also.
(Maybe... Maybe that would trigger the second tree of power to grow and bear fruit?)
Hopeful.
(And once the tree grows and bear the second fruit of power, our family can be whole again.)
Kotori: Smile~ I'm looking forward to what the future awaits.
Kaneki: Hmm?
Kaneki looked back as he was getting farther ahead and noticed Kotori smiling, though he didn't know exactly she was smiling he wanted to play with her one last time before arriving at their home.
Kaneki: Onee-chan! Don't slow down! Whoever gets home last owes the winner some pudding!

Immediately after challenging her, Kaneki began running but at a normal human pace.
Kotori: Heh! Don't underestimate your Onee-chan! HAAAAA!

Kotori immediately accepted his challenge and started running after Kaneki.

The two continued to run back to their home as the stars in the sky covered the night sky.

Meanwhile in the Higanbana household, in Miku's room she held her phone tightly in her hand as she was about to have a conversation with Shino and Yuuka in their own private group chat.
Miku: Man I'm so nervous!
Even though she was hesitant on contacting the two, she pushed forward.
Miku:
Hey are you two am still awake?
Miku: I did it!
It wasn't long until she got a response by both Shino and Yuuka simultaneously.
Shino & Yuuka:
Yeah we are.
Miku:
Good evening Shino-Oneechan, Yuuka-Oneechan. Well we have something important to discuss.
Yuuka:
Yeah, tomorrow's the big day.... I'm really nervous.
Shino:
But i think Natsuki is getting suspicious, you two think she'll catch on?
Miku:
Probably but not too soon, she might have her doubts.
Yuuka:
Agreed, if she was already suspicious of us for a while she should have shown a lot more signs. From what we seen earlier, it's safe to assume her suspicions have only just started.
Shino:
I see, that's good. I guess tomorrow after we properly reconcile and apologize to Kaneki we should tell Natsuki, right?
Miku:
Of course, we have been deceiving her for two months now. We should come clean with her.
Yuuka:
That is going to be more difficult than apologizing with Kaneki, compared to Kaneki who knows what we had done. Natsuki didn't know anything.
Miku:
And she hates "us" but even so, us telling her with complete honestly is better than letting her find out herself.
Yuuka:
I guess so.
Shino:
So how should we approach her?
Miku:
I think our best option is... Having a sleepover with Natsuki, and tell her there.

Yeah, what I thought. Well then it's getting late we should head to bed now.

With their conversation now over, Miku layed down on her bed and faced the ceiling of her room.
Miku: Haa~ I tomorrow's the day we finally fix our relationship for real.
As she layed down, her nervousness for the upcoming day had suddenly disappeared.

She smiled and once again got up and went to her desk and took out something from it's drawer.
It was a frame containing a picture of Herself, Sachi, Shino, Yuuka, and Kaneki together taken during their middle school entrance ceremony. Which she had hidden ever since Natsuki first came into their home.
Natsuki: Hehe~ I've hidden this ever since Natsuki first came here, but there's no need to anymore since she's going to find out sooner or later.
Now that fixing her relationship with Kaneki is seemingly inevitable, Miku didn't felt like hiding it anymore and was somewhat ready to tell Natsuki the whole truth.
Still smiling she placed the picture frame on the small desk beside her bed.
Miku: Welcome back. Hmm... Something feels missing. Oh!
Miku took out her phone again and looked at a group photo of them on the previous day on the beach and on their onsen trip.
Miku: I definitely need to get these framed tomorrow after we're done, well then time time for bed.
After happily looking at her photos, she layed down on her bed with a smile and went to sleep.
Miku: Goodnight, everyone.
Meanwhile~
Shino: Haa~ I feel a lot better now.
In Shino's home, she just finished taking a short shower to cool herself and to help her relax for the upcoming day.

Shino sat down on her bed and hugged her soft pillow as she stared at Kaneki's room through her window.
Shino: Smile~ I wonder if Kaneki is ready for tomorrow? Oh who am I kidding? Kaneki is definitely ready, and nervous as well!
Just like Miku, Shino was also nervous for the upcoming day but she had relaxed a lot more now and started imagining what could happen when She, Miku and Yuuka finally reconciles with Kaneki.
Shino: Hmm..

Kaneki: Don't worry! I forgive you guys! I love you all after all-

Shino: Nope! That is way too unrealistic, there's no way he'd forgive is just because he loves us.
Though her imagination was rather unrealistic, but even so she knew that Kaneki would still forgive them.
Shino: Haa~ Well it's alright, he'll forgive us anyways... But... I hope he also pour everything out as well.
Even if they are to be yelled at by Kaneki, Shino was prepared to face it as well.
Shino: Yeah that's enough thinking about it now, it's getting real late.

And so after all that, Shino layed down on her bed and went to sleep.
Shino: See you tomorrow, Kaneki.

Yuuka: Alright. Tomorrow our relationship will be completely fixed!
In Yuuka's room, compared to the other two who were nervous at first and gradually calmed down.
Yuuka wasn't nervous as Shino or Miku after their chat, this was due to her motivating herself.
Yuuka: I'm so excited! I can't wait! After we reconcile with him, we must face Natsuki and I'm already ready!
And she wasn't too worried about facing Natsuki.
Yuuka: Ugh... Who am I kidding? There's no way I'm ready.
Well she was a little nervous.
Yuuka: Sigh~ But even so, I have to do it. Natsuki is really kind and she'll probably understand why we had to deceive her, but I do hope she would forgive us...
Yuuka took out her phone and looked at her group photo with her friends and Natsuki.
And she remembered when she first asked to become friends with Natsuki.

Yuuka: She accepted me so quickly, even though I had used her to get closer to Kaneki... But she really was my friend.

Natsuki: I'll go to his house after school and try to talk to him, maybe even convince him to talk to you.

Yuuka: Even when my relationship with Kaneki was really strained, it was Natsuki who helped me.
She was grateful to Natsuki, and the thought of her getting hurt because of her had made her worry as well.
Natsuki wss her benefactor, and she wants to repay her.
Yuuka: Once I've reconciled with Kaneki, kll accept any punishment Natsuki had in mind for us.
And is willing to accept any punishment Natsuki had to offer, unless she wants her to not get close to Kaneki again.
Yuuka: Haa~ Alright. To bed I go.
And so she also went to sleep, prepared for the upcoming day.
