The rain was pouring down like a waterfall, drenching everything in sight. A young man was sprinting through the streets, his clothes soaked and his face pale. He ignored the traffic lights and the honking cars, dodging them with agility and speed. He stumbled and fell several times, but he quickly got up and resumed his frantic run. He felt a sharp pain in his chest, as if his heart was about to burst. He also felt a strange sensation in his body, like something was changing inside him. He didn't know what was happening to him, but he knew he had to get home as soon as possible.

He finally reached his destination, a shabby apartment building in a rundown neighborhood. He ran up the stairs and knocked on the door of his home, hoping that his mother was there. He heard footsteps and the door opened, revealing a middle-aged woman with a worried expression. She was his mother.

"Mom!" he cried out and hugged her tightly. "Mom, something is wrong with me! I don't feel right! My body is burning up and I feel dizzy! What's going on? Am I going to die?"

He felt a sharp pain in his chest, as if a needle was piercing his heart. He clutched his chest and fell to the ground, unable to breathe. His mother heard his scream and rushed to his room. She saw him lying on the floor, pale and trembling. She was terrified and hugged him tightly. "My son, what's wrong with you? Don't scare me like this!" She cried out and called his father and an ambulance.

His father was working overtime at the factory. He received the call from his wife and felt a chill down his spine. He dropped everything and ran towards his home. He didn't care about the traffic or the pedestrians. He only cared about his son's life. He arrived at his home and saw the ambulance parked outside. He dashed into the house and saw his son being carried out on a stretcher. He grabbed his son's hand and asked anxiously, "Son, what happened to you? Why are you like this?" His son didn't answer. He just looked at him with a blank expression and sweat dripping from his forehead. His father felt a surge of fear and sadness. He felt that his son was slipping away from him.

The paramedics loaded the stretcher into the ambulance and drove away with sirens blaring. His mother followed them in a taxi. His father also got into a taxi and chased after them. He prayed to heaven and earth for his son's safety. He didn't know what was wrong with his son. He didn't know if he would survive. He only knew that he loved him more than anything in the world

The ambulance and the taxi arrived at the hospital almost simultaneously. His parents rushed out of the taxi and followed the stretcher that carried their son Kael. They saw his pale face and bloodstained clothes, and their hearts were filled with fear and despair. They had no idea what had happened to him, only that he was in a critical condition.

They waited anxiously outside the emergency room, praying to the heavens for their son's survival. They had no other relatives or friends to support them, only each other. They held hands tightly, hoping for a miracle.

Hours passed, but there was no sign of the doctors coming out. They felt their hope fading away with every passing minute. They tried to ask the nurses for some information, but they were either ignored or told to wait patiently.

Finally, the door of the emergency room opened. Two doctors came out, wearing masks and gloves. They looked at Kael's parents with solemn expressions, and walked towards them slowly.

"Mr. and Mrs. Kaoe, we are very sorry to inform you that your son Kael has passed away during the surgery." One of the doctors said in a low voice.

"What? How? Why?" His parents exclaimed in disbelief.

"His heart burst in the middle of the operation. We have never seen anything like this before. It was a very rare and unfortunate complication. We did everything we could to save him, but it was too late." The other doctor explained.

"No! No! No! This can't be true! This can't be happening! He was fine this morning! He was going to school! He was happy! He had a bright future ahead of him! He can't be gone! He can't!" His mother cried out hysterically, collapsing on the floor.

His father tried to comfort her, but he was also overcome with grief. He hugged her tightly, tears streaming down his face.

They both sobbed uncontrollably, unable to accept the cruel reality that their son was gone forever.

Inside the emergency room shortly before the start of the operation!

As the emergency room doors closed, a sense of impending doom washed over me. My eyes were closed, but my senses were heightened. I could hear every rustle of the hospital staff's scrubs and the beep of the machines around me. But I couldn't move a muscle; I was powerless, helpless.

A wave of weakness overcame me, and I knew that my time was running out. My breathing became shorter, and my grip on life weakened. I heard voices outside, but they were muffled, as if I were underwater.

As I felt my life slipping away, I resigned myself to my fate. Death was coming, and there was nothing I could do about it. But then, in the darkness, a voice called out to me.

"Wake up, wake up, Demon Lord. Your people need your help."
