Synopsis
Out there in the Omniverse are untold horrors and creatures that defy imagination so when a normal young man is thrust into these horrors with no where to retreat to what else can he do but fight. For the sake of only saying this once any characters and universes displayed in the novel that are not originals to me are owned by the proper people this is just a fan fiction I wanted to write for a long time. There is no stockpile of chapters so what releases is what I have at the time.

Chapter 1 - Aliens are real

Jon woke up slowly at first groaning softly to himself as he rubbed his head trying to get the pounding migraine from drinking too much to go away.

It was only as he attempted to roll over to go back to sleep that he realized that he was not laying in his bed anymore instead he was laid up against the edge of a stone table.

Or at least it seemed like a table at first his mind still clouded as it tried to figure out what exactly he was experiencing at the moment. Either someone had kidnapped him, or he had died but this didn't seem like heaven or hell.

[Final Set Up Complete!]

[Welcome to the Game!]

[You are being granted a Status!]

[No Patrons are interested in sponsoring you at the moment! Good Luck!]

[AVP will begin soon prepare or perish it matters little]

Now he was freaking out because he had seen this movie a hundred times over there was almost no chance in hell that he would even survive the first half of what was going to happen.

Panic quickly set in as he started to hyperventilate pacing rapidly back and forth in the room pausing as he spotted the large coffin looking object on a raised dais.

That was the key to surviving this place but grabbing anything would also start the mechanisms that rearranged the pyramid at set intervals.

He would wait as long as he could before grabbing anything from it then he would run and not stop running for as long as he could and if it came down to it he would kill.

Life was only precious when you fight with everything you have to hold onto it that is what he believed, and it would be what he always believed so until he was unable to move, he wouldn't let himself die.

With a plan of action Jon stopped pacing instead he summoned up the status that the announcements had mentioned.

Jon Fairchild

Lv. 0 0%

Body:11

Mind:14

Spirit:12

Abilities/Skills: None

It wasn't anything extravagant but if he was assuming the average was ten for a normal human being than at least he surpassed that by even a little.

Letting himself fall into a push up position Jon started doing as many as he could manage finding himself blowing past the previous ten that he could do to make it all the way to thirty before he had to stop.

His muscles were sore but other than that he felt fantastic, better than ever actually an alert coming to him right as he got off the ground.

[Look at you a smart little ant! +1 to Body and Mind]

[Push the boundaries of humanity! Dig out all your potential be it an insignificant amount or an enormous never-ending supply of it!]

Jon could feel it a change so small that he had almost missed it when it happened his thoughts clearing just the smallest amount while some of the fatigue from the push-ups was pushed away.

Giving a little hop he found that he had gained maybe an inch or two on his vertical a good difference. Luckily Jon had taken an interest in fitness a few weeks ago or else he would have missed the differences.

Done with his little experiment he looked at himself finding that his clothes had been switched out with more weather appropriate attire including a puffer jacket and two climbing axes.

Testing the boots now that he was actually noticing them, he found the grip on them to be very good like ridiculously good.

"Okay so this whatever this is dropped me in the middle of a horror movie but gave me top quality gear and seems to have made it possible for me to undergo at least physical changes faster."

Jon was speaking to himself while trying to figure out exactly what was happening using the absence of any outside pressure to make a game plan in the off chance he actually survived.

[Countdown Started 5:00 minutes and counting]

That snapped him back into focus his hands tightening so hard that his nails dug into his palms not hard enough to draw blood but hard enough to keep him centered.

Taking a few deep breaths Jon relaxed finding the familiar hair tie on his wrist as he pulled his slightly long hair into a man bun running a hand along his stubble before giving himself a couple of crisp slaps.

"Whatever is watching don't let me die screaming in the dark."

When the counter hit a few seconds left Jon practically threw himself at the coffin looking over the dials on top gritting his teeth as he fumbled his way through the combination.

Until finally with a hiss it slid open revealing the alien guns inside, but it was only one that he was looking for managing to find it after carefully doing a once over.

Freeing it was a different matter requiring a decent amount of effort something that the rest didn't have to put in during the movie, but this was the real world.

Checking it over he unfolded the trigger and extended the front a little a number of lights coming on across it as it beeped until each light was lit up with characters he couldn't read.

[Plasma Pistol Acquired!]

Jon looked it over again before nodding as he moved out of the room as the pyramid had another way out of the room other than the one that the team would use to enter it.

If he was correct as well, he could hear people moving around in a chamber up above already dipping out right as the glowstick dropped down into the room from above.

The current plan of action was to move through the pyramid while he was still unimpeded by its changing interior. With the gun in his hands, he at least had the confidence to survive an ambush either by an alien or the predators.

More importantly he needed to begin work on figuring out how to generate skills because a stealth skill would at least help him remain undetected for a precious few seconds.

Creeping forward slowly with those thoughts in mind he adjusted his footing trying to minimize the noise that he generated with each step.

Though it was only after seven or eight minutes of doing so that he actually heard the noise he was anticipating in tune with another noise he was hoping to not hear.

[Stealth Skill Generated! Lv.1/100]

[The Hunt Begins!]

Jon moved faster with the last alert still trying his best to minimize his presence as he moved checking every nook and cranny on his way by trying to ignore how everything seemed to emit a faint bit of light.

He was acutely aware of the shifting of stone all around him as the mechanisms worked to rearrange the interior bringing about a harder and more difficult hunt.

Not that he even wanted to hunt any Xenomorphs at all instead he would rather be running away as fast as possible. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option he was almost a hundred percent certain that he couldn't stray too far from the old whaling station.

He had already been travelling for ten minutes when he heard it ever so faintly behind him the sound of something touching stone a quick reaction all that saved his life as he rolled across the floor.

A pitch-black tail sailing through the space he had occupied a moment before as he turned leveling the plasma pistol firing it off into the xenomorph.

Acid blood and bits of body decorated the walls a few drops barely missing him as he scrambled backwards after firing off the shot in case, he missed so the gun could recharge.

[Xenomorph Killed! X1]

[Level up! X3]

Getting up off of the ground Jon turned tail sprinting down the halls dodging the changes by a hair until he slid through a small gap into a mostly closed off room plasma pistol raised as he bounced to his feet.

Panting as he swept the room with the pistol Jon barely risked missing a detail spotting another weapon abandoned against the wall. Though it was the barely noticeable coating of fresh slime on it that let him know he more than likely not alone in the room.

Though this time he barely managed to sway out of the way as a spiked tail cut open the side of the puffer jacket as well as the thinner jacket underneath making a moderately sized cut along his side.

Grunting Jon managed to throw himself against the stone wall dodging a follow up pounce using one hand to fire the plasma pistol finding himself staring up at the ceiling of the room.

Smoke hung in the air for a while as he just laid there trying to gather his bearings or at least some sense of them.

An ambush that he was prepared for at least mentally had almost seen him dead. It was only through sheet luck that he had actually even noticed the slime like mucus that the xenomorph had produced.

[Level up! X2]

Rolling over Jon pushed up off of the floor ignoring the gory seen splashed across the back wall as he worked at pulling the puffer jacket off wincing at the lances of pain the action generated.
