Chapter 115 - Time Passed 7

In addition to needing to be sturdy enough to be able to endure being destroyed by all kinds of Quirks, she needed to find ways to improve them in other ways.

There would always be room for improvement, especially if modifications could be made to each of the puppets.

Those modifications could improve the overall utility, allowing her to surpass the basic capabilities that her puppets could achieve.

She could usually manipulate the puppets if they were close or were inhabiting one of them, which made them very useful in many ways, but the problem still existed that they would be quite limited to having humanoid or animal-like forms.

Their movements would often become restricted to what those forms could achieve, and they would only be able to achieve the same type of physical movements and capabilities that most other bodies would be able to achieve on their own.

Various modifications built in would be able to grant all kinds of new capabilities that could be utilised in all kinds of situations.

Some would serve as a major support for those puppet bodies, while others would assist with defence or offensive capabilities.

That was why Tiffany had mainly been studying mechanics related to those areas.

Even hero support tools seemed very useful in many ways since they could be applied by being built into her puppets, and they could be worn or wielded by them.

Those features would often make a very big difference, especially when it came to overcoming situations that her puppets would not be able to handle in most physical confrontations that usually required getting close to strike.

Not all opponents would allow others to get close to engage in a physical fight.

They would rather evade that type of confrontation unless they were a Quirk possessor who had a type of Quirk that enhanced their physical capabilities more than anything.

If they lacked the confidence to fight up close and personal, or they had a Quirk that was more suited to a longer range where they were safer, then they would not allow her puppets to get near them.

Since they were heavier than humans and they were not so fast in their movements, they could even struggle to close the distance between themselves and their opponents.

If their opponent was a better fighter in close range, then it would be quite easy for a single puppet to be able to defeat them, especially if they had quite a powerful physical-type Quirk.

It would be just as troublesome when trying to overcome those types using the body alone.

There needed to be other options available to allow different approaches to handle situations that her puppets would usually be unable to handle.

That meant that they needed to be more than just close-range fighters.

They needed something more like ways to boost their speed or achieve other feats that should not be possible with their usual design.

It was just as needed to be able to do things from a much longer range.

That was all the more reason why Tiffany wished to improve her capabilities so that she could make them faster and move far better with far more efficiency.

The slower they were, the more they would become an easy target for being attacked.

Even if they were quite durable, they were not invincible.

She could make use of multiple puppets and various tactics to close that gap, but she did not have an unlimited supply of puppets that could be used all at once.

It was not like her current supply could be replenished so easily if they were damaged very badly and even beyond repair.

All kinds of new ideas kept appearing, but she still lacked the capabilities to be able to apply them in the ways she wanted.

She still had to rely on others to be able to have anything made in such a way, even if her capabilities had improved over the years.

Modifications that allowed her to fly or have sudden bursts of speed were not yet achievable for her, but she could only dream of it happening in the future.

The other ways to approach those problems were alternatives like having grappling gun attachments or similar functions.

The other major thing she had been trying to do, which was related to her studies, had a lot to do with her choice to spread her influence much further beyond the country she had been born.

There were no big plans to go abroad anytime soon, but it did not hurt to expand her influence so that she could learn what was happening in each country.

The main obstacle that existed was the language barrier.

She could expand her influence all she wanted, but what would be difficult would be understanding the languages of the places she had planted the things she would use to inhabit and spy on others and all kinds of events taking place around them.
