Loud and wet crunches rang out as the piston powered five block thick walls smashed together. Silencing the screaming goblins that snuck into the totally 'secret' tunnel that I left with goblin shit at the front door of.
"Heh pieces of rotting green skin filth." I spat on the literal pool of gore that I began quickly and happily using a large smooth glide mop to push the gore into a secret hole in the floor that led to a spot of lava.
"At least the goblins crushed in my traps count as being killed by my hands as well even if the kill exp goes to my mechanics skill instead of my magic and weapon skills." I mused to myself happily.
A soft rumble of annoyance rang out from Azulbak at seeing me pushing the pile of gore into the lava pool and I gave the angry goat a dull look before I chided him.
"Oh hell no, you literally started letting the pile of goblin corpses I left to you to rot because you coudn't eat them quick enough. Don't give me that nonsense!"
My father's war goat angrily bleated and me and trotted away like I was an abusive lover who refused to buy them a fucking necklace or something. And the sight made me shake my head at the sight of the now spoiled war goat.
Still after dealing with the daily small group of wandering goblins and orcs that would take the trap door I left open on the back side of my mountain and enter a death trap. I went back to my own massive forge area.
My warhammer specifically was already a fantastic weapon especially as I had changed out the copper and bronze head/spike on the war hammer for a Grommir and Mythril core so that the lightning runes and smite runes would do as much damage as possible.
As while Grommir was perfect for amazing durability as well as enhancing the runes on the object to an extent. Mythril was a softer metal that was fantastic for channeling magic.
The problem with Mythril that although it was fantastic for casting magic and channeling magic through it. Like those damned Elgi, the elves would use mostly mythril to make their weapons and magic tools while relying on channeling alot of magic to make the item itself more durable.
When in reality... Those dip shit, knife ears shoudn't be trying to alloy the magical metals or actually hardening the material with their magic. When instead they should be welding the materials together but still very distinctly apart in a Damascus style of forging.
"If only I could make Vibranium." I muttered with annoyance as being able to make the outer shell and main section of my warhammer out of Vibranium would make... A perfect weapon honestly.
But Vibranium itself was a fucking mess as even Marvel didn't explain where the hell the damn near omnipotently useful metal actually came from. If someone said it came from the iron in the blood of gods or something it would have been possible to remake possibly.
But no.
For all the autistic comic nerds of my previous life. All we got was teehee, its a fucking semi-radioactive material that comes from a meteor, if you want to know more... Get fucked nerd!
I took a large chug from my large flask of whiskey and after the wonderful burn faded away. I snorted with annoyance as even Uru, the magical metal that made up Thor's hammer actually was possible to get.
'I can refine Mythril from 'First Moon.' Or from the core of dead stars. Maybe I can steal that super Far Squeaker from the Skaven to contact the Eldar from outside of this universe.' I mused to myself as I most certainly coudn't mine materials from either sources.
But then again I coudn't get the Far Squeaker that could get access to outside this universe anyway.
Either way, this world still had it's own magical materials and metals in particular. I just wanted the super materials from higher tier universes.
Then after a moment of thought. I made my way towards the front area where I had re-setup the mostly automated factory for my dwemmer automated constructs.
As it turns out, using the ambient magic in the air to power redstone stupidly simple systems, you could cut out... Basically all of the shitty Umgi's who often coudn't even push a cart filled with casts right.
From the giant fifty block wide mega smelter dozens of casts for the main parts for the Dwemer constructs were poured. Then with a piston, the completed part would be pushed into a dropper which would suck it into a constantly rotating chest on mine cart.
Then in a production line. Perfectly percise pistons with tools attached to them would orient, and then attach all of the pieces for the dwemer constructs on the assembly line.
Once again the only issue I coudn't truly automate was the Centurion cores as it required managing very magically rich blood that was then mixed in with ground gems to form the reactor.
Everything else however? Literally everything was building itself with myself going into the earth to collect the materials myself to fuel my factory.
With a hum I checked the lava levels for the giant smelter that acted as it's fuel and with a hum I chuckled as I said quietly. "Heh, no swamp ass iron being put in my shop."
As for whatever reason... My gamer power's meant that I always got the best purity and form of the materials I mined up for better or worse. Which did make it more difficult to mine up by-products.
But getting pure Sol Gold and Lunar Silver from mining? That was priceless as those materials were a complete pain in the ass to source normally and were extremely useful for making my runes,
After checking on the 'spear' production site that was responsible for making the ammo for my centurion's I didn't personally enchant with 'Infinity'
I heard a loud ringing in the distance that bounced off my halls walls and hit my ears and made me frown at the tone of the ringing.
"They are here... Well shit." I muttered with a curse as that particular ringing was the one I specifically made for Shaggit and his goon's to ring if Grand Cathay's men came to my mountain.
Looking for me specifically.
"Well let's see what the hell the dragon bitch wants." I mutted as I took another chug of straight burning whiskey and headed for the front door.
I reached the large door and then with a series of lever flips that acted as a password. The door opened with a loud rumble of several tons of solid steel being moved as after the last week I decided to replace the stone door with just blocks of steel that were all enchanted with durablity.
As I wasn't going to allow abunch of Skaven or Orc fecal munchers to dig through my fucking front door!
"Lo!" Shaggit greeted me with a bloody grin and by that... That's wasn't hyperbole, he had several wounds across his form as but blood and what could only be brain matter streaked through his beard.
"The fuck happened to you Shaggit?" I demanded as I saw even the chest plate I made him. Which he only wore when he realized if more than his gut was protected, he would live longer to eat more and fuck more ugly ass Ogres.
His chest plate that was thick as hell and had an inner layer of enchanted steel that would repel foriegn magic was burnt heavily and had several large gouges across it's form.
I had zero doubt that if he wasn't wearing that chest peice he would have been dead and disembowed especially.
"Oz it was a mezz I tells ya. Them big dragon man with their yum yum horse were like. 'Oi, wez know you got that dwarf in there. Yez send em out us or wez gonna go get him ourselfz!"
Shaggit spat a thick bloody wad to the side that made me grimace before he snorted. "Coudn't have could eh? Letten them little dragon boyz come in and steal MY clan'z free food maker? Bloody stupid of dem I say!" Shaggit snarled furiously at the end.
And I coudn't help but realize something... Scary.
Shaggit's two hundred large clan of Ogre's in the Golden Blood Tooth Tribe had expanded... Heavily.
Merely counting quickly I saw there was at least more than three hundred main family tents out at the base of my mountain. Which meant that there were several thousand fucking Ogres out there.
"So ya, wanted to tell ya. I ate the bad general... He tasted pretty fookin spicy honest." Shaggit said with a laugh at the end.
And my blood ran cold at that.
The fucking Ogre's ate the general who came to demand me to come to Grand Cathay!?
For a long moment... I was fucking terrified of what that meant as I knew the Dragon Emperor and Empress were a match for one of the Chaos Gods.
I knew that Miao Ying herself was no joke in combat and that my mountain woudn't be able to withstand her magical power when she decided to nuke my front door.
After all... Enough lightning and some airflow can make plasma which can instantly melt steel.
But then I had another thought. If it came down to it. Whelp, I could always just flee into the Nether with my inventory full of my materials and such.
And I could just start my Nether Highway and make my way to the World's Edge Mountains or something to join my brethren.
A exhale left me before I asked bluntly. "How many of their troops escaped?"
To which Shaggit blinked before he brushed a hand across gore covered beard and said with a frown as thinking... Clearly hurt for him.
'Ah... Hmm no idea honest. It was a pretty big smash, thinkz they had fifty riders at zat point. And dem dragon horses are real fast so probably thirty gotz away?"
'Wow... Didn't even manage to kill half of them.' I thought with a sigh before I realized I had a good couple of weeks for the riders to maybe get back to Nan Gau to tell Miao Ying what had happened.
Then no matter what, it was going to take at least another week for a punitive force to be assembled to leave Grand Cathay's safe walls in such a force to deal with several thousand ogres.
'So I have at least three weeks to a month before Miao Ying get's here with an army... If she bothers to come at all as she has to watch the Great Wall for the consistent Deamon attacks.' I mused before Shaggit cleared his throat and said with a grin.
"Heh anyway ma clan's needs moar food Kharn. Iz got thirty little uns to feed of my own haha!" Shaggit spoke with a grin at me that made me snort.
As it was just... So normal for him to demand more food. But he was an Ogre so I didn't take any offense to his demand.
"Aye, I will double the food production. You got alot more Ogre's here, and I can't let ye starve I guess." I said gruffly with Shaggit laughing and bending over to pat my shoulder with an oversize finger that was thicker then my arm.
"Youz be a good little un Kharn. Me and da boyz gonna keep ye nice and safe. Don't worry dou. When ya kin with the red beards and spikey bitz come. Wez let through without trouble none." Shaggit promised with a thump to his chest with his fist.
A chuckle left me before I wondered how an Ogre would react to my system-boosted food that would give extreme levels of saturation. Was there such a thing as an Ogre overeating and killing himself?
Eh, either way I nodded and said firmly. "Good, send more of the youngin's to move the food from the exit point to your clan's stores. I get back to work making more food for yall."
I headed back inside into my hold and I did just that as I knew that Shaggit and his brood was my best bet to keeping my own autonomy before my brethren and the Slayer King himself arrived to address this grudgin with Grand Cathay.
