In the afternoon, Jian Dan went back to Li Garden early.
"Jin, you don't need to cook tonight. I'm planning to personally prepare a lavish meal for Uncle. I'm heading to the backyard to pick some vegetables!" said Jian Dan as soon as she stepped through the door, addressing Jin who was busy in the kitchen.
"Oh!" Jin casually responded, but when it registered that Jian Dan said she would cook, Jin hurried out of the kitchen, only to find Jian Dan already gone.
Jin quickly took off her apron and went to the backyard.
In the backyard, she saw Jian Dan squatting in the vegetable patch, holding a mobile phone in one hand and following its instructions as she picked vegetables.
"Madam, let me do it!" Jin tried to speak in a normal tone as much as possible.
"Don't worry, Jin, I can do it!"
"Madam, you've been working all day, it's best to take a good rest. Let me handle it! Just tell me what you want to eat." Jin said as she prepared to enter the vegetable patch.
